very expensive conversion considering how expensive Honda engines bloody are. Especially a S2000 VTEC engine

I dont think an S2000 engine is exactly a straight forward swap. Nor a cheap one.
How many S2000 engines do you see for sale as half cuts?

DRFTAE86

86 dash with the S2000 cluster.

I rember reading about it somewhere, but they had to get the car all looking pretty for a photo shoot, and they were able to get a hold of the monster garage workshop. Which i would think to be the coolest workshops ever with every tool in the world.....*drools*

the S2000 engine comes stock with 250hp at the crank. I don't see many 2L N/A's even modified ones hitting that mark. So its a wise choice and nice car too to boot.

Just hanging out for the day someone gets the balls and/or money to enter an S2000 into improved production racing in oz, it'll completely dominate the 2L class.

Looks to be in good condition. Not surprising though for the yanks, they love their fully sick VTEC's.

Agree 100% - that starlet is totally whacko!
Always have had a soft spot for those KP61s. I wonder what the motor does for the weight balance, surely its a lot larger and heavier than the original K-motor?

Although it should be easier to do now due to its popularity, s2000 into ae86 chassis is difficult.

The fc20 is a very tall motor and major crossmember and engine mount mods are needed to make it work, not to mention the wiring and driveline, OMG, im thinking modded 3sge would be better.

IS200 (lexus) or wateva it is like the one bill sherwood has done. 220hp right there, and it still toyota.

Maybe something from PJ Bonifacio would be nice. He builds tough AE86's with 3sge's and 3sgte's

Cheers

1G was a semi-popular transplant I thought.....

But a straight 6 built for Soarers etc create a slight weight balance problem compared to a 4gangbanger.
Dont u think dude?

Heyy umm I know it is popula rin states but has anyone put a 1zz or 2zz in a hachi in Australia yet? What are those engines worth anyways? Does anyone know what transmission was generally used with them?
