Isn't it just a piece of clear plastic? I've seen lots of guys do it as a DIY mod.
Nice car dude... luuurve the baby blue... so innocent, yet so purposeful.

thanks for the pic man, yeah your rear bumper is also warped like mine, but not as much, did you fix it? How about the front was it hard to put on, mine seems like its to wide.
Sorry to be a nagg, but could you also post a pic of your car head on, i just need to work out this scenario with the kit fitment.
Cheers Tai
Leandro
17th October 2005, 01:17 PM
No worries buddy
Umm ive taken the kit off a few times and have never had a problem to fit it again only thing i had to do was make up some spacers for the front bar to make it site level
other than that no problems
as for the rear bar no i havent fixed it, it was like that when i first got the car so i dunno
maybe talk to ken and ask him if its normal shouldnt be but just ask to check

sorry leandro but im a really critical person so dont take into account anything im about to say - i sick of streeter kit for hachi, indicators do look ricey ur front wheels have too much gap from the guards as far as i can see correct me because im probably wrong
Leandro
28th October 2005, 09:33 PM
Lol thanks for the comments guys
Redsuns: the gap between the wheels at the front is higher than it use to be i had to raise the thing to get it into my driveway so your right on the money there
As for the kit i havent been into sprinter for that long to get sick of them but hey your entitled to your own opinion like everyone else
As for the indicators yes they were a bit ricey lol but they came as a free bee so i couldnt really complain but yeah they have gone bye bye now due to them flying our of the bumper when i nudghed the rock face, ill be going back to the jdm style orange indicators
other than that i can explain much else mate but thanks for your opinion (no sarcasm intended

Glad you got it all patched up after tuesday night leandro....
sucks it isnt as neat as it used to be, but you're catching the look of my car at a rapid rate http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif
tell me the full story about how it happened, did you brush the rock wall and keep going? grant in his ute picked up the front bar and bought it to you 5kms up the road, after everyone nearly ran over it on the way through... is that something like correct?
Leandro
29th October 2005, 09:26 AM
Haha yeah Justin i kept going lol
When i came round that corner it stepped out so i just floored it and kept the slide going but unfortunetly the front got really close to the wall until it finally grabbed and pulled the entire front bar off. but i still kept going lol after i corrected and got straight again i realised by suspension was pulled out of whack 60 mm out to be exact lol
but dopesnt matter getting a new bar next week of ken all painted and ready to go lol
Ill give ya call about 2nite might end up going down to the coast for once.
and wally a new front bar is normally abt 500 but yeah ken looking after me with a unbelieveable price lol ilove that man !

Since you know Ken, do you reckon you could ask if i could swap my front bumper for another, ive tried everything to get it to fit the gaurds. Or just pass on his number to me and il call him. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif
