Yes, but they say 65W/60 on top. I don't know any light manufacture that makes that wattage. I got the Phillips Crystals in mine and there great.

I never even knew if Toyota could still get headlights etc. for the ae86

Did you also know that repco branded oil is bottled by Mobile, and repco branded oil filters are also packe/made by Ryco.

As you would imagine, repco is cheaper.

.wolfwood
30th July 2005, 06:12 PM
hey just a quick question, when you get hew head lights and parkers, do they have the black surrounding on them or is that an after market park. i jsut recon it looks good having the black parts around the head lights

.wolfwood
30th July 2005, 06:16 PM
what i mean is these parts

Blood Child
30th July 2005, 10:41 PM
i didn't get anything like that with mine, so i'd say aftermarket

.wolfwood
30th July 2005, 11:47 PM
shit....

Sprinterboy
4th August 2005, 09:18 PM
dude those black parts came on the newer(kouki) model lights, only available in japan, aussies got the old(zenki) model. they arent aftermarket, they were a slight facelift for the newer sprinter (86-87??). if you look closely at the parkers, the bolt holes are in a different spot and the indicator is shorter. thats why people talk about kouki gear, it looks cooler. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif

Sprinterboy
4th August 2005, 09:21 PM
then again i could be completely wrong, they look a bit thicker than usual http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/blink.gif http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

sure! got a spare $1390?

http://www.visionr.com.au/

.wolfwood
5th August 2005, 06:36 PM
hmm that is a bit extream for a seat of head lights

is it jsut me or does that site seem a little expensive?

RobertoX
6th August 2005, 02:33 PM
i think you are a little bit poor

they are not a "set of headlights" most ae86 owners see them as an "upgrade and an aesthetic" improvement

weis (vision r) shop is a speciality shop, he lays his cash on the line and imports top of the line goodies for us to enjoy, and that comes at a premium, and if you price check his prices arent much more than the jap RRP, effectively reducing the duties and customs

his service etc is always excellent, and as for prices? try get the parts elsewhere

.wolfwood
8th August 2005, 01:56 PM
yeah they do look good and all and yes i can understand why there expensive and im not bitching about it, its jsut a bit more than i can affored to spend for better looking lights atm.

Well after market company's like All Crash Repairs and Oze Parts (2 biggest company's in Australia) don't do parts for the AE86, so if you can't find them from a wrecker than you probably won't have a choice.

Blood Child
25th October 2005, 05:28 PM
you'll be lucky if toyota even has the parts available. i was told i got the last LH parker in the country.
also when i got a quote from them for some other front end parts, they said that they would have to order some of them in from japan

$120 for a SET of parkers is brilliant. i paid about $135 just for one
haha and it's still in the box! saving parts for a rainy day. (maybe even a hailstorm or something)
