Local workshop i know and good friends of mine import cars and bits. They recently started getting D2's.

I have the sheet right hear infront of me if anybody needs spec's, they can be orderd for a huge amount of different cars. keep that in mind.

Just interested in the number of people interested. starting price is around $1850.00

Maybe able to work it down with a few orders.

D2 is sold in japan as k-sport, but i find it bizzare that the factory spring rates are f-7 and r-5 http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/blink.gif , the good news is that they are monotube

for $600 extra you can get JIC's http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

i tried to convinced Ben(zoom editior and HSD distributor) to make some for the ae86, but there where warranty issues that for the rear, your supost to weld some sort of plate hat.

Its not a short stroke=no good IMO.

The lower you get the closer the top of the strut is to the camber plate. Have fun bottoming out. If you really wanted to you could build a setup like this for under half the cost.

I think having a short stroke 36 way front and rear with height/camber/preload/damping/rebound would rock and I'd pay 2 grand for it.

I'm sure the shock design is great and all. It'd better be for the price, but if your suspension can't move it's worthless.

Judging from the pics D2's materials and craftsmanship look good. It's just their suspension setup regarding the ae86 looks a little misguided. They should talk to t3 or btune about how to set it up.

When I read the topic I thought it was like the JIC coilover that uses the stock spindle and you have to send in a core. Anyone remember those?

yeah some one shoulkd try and organise a group buy of some good coil overs, i would be in also if it was a good price.

but once you bought the coil overs wouldnt you need some one to set them up or can you do that your self?
