View Full Version : actual danger of putting a stockie on backwards?

so today i found out that my spare wheel looked alot like a 4x4 wheel. then i realised it was upside down, and THEN i had this sick idea to flip the wheels on my excel to make it look pimp. at least for a photo or something. if there any real danger of doing it and driving it for a little bit? would it be the same as running like 13x5.5-25 in terms of load on the suspension? chances of raping an actual wheel?
sounds really gay, but it is for a really gay car. (metalic pink excel) and i bought it for the comic value. also any more ideas to make it more gayer?

There is the very real danger that said excel could become so gay, when it approaches 88 miles per hour, it actually rips a hole in the Gay-Time continuum. The consequences of this could range from minor friction burns, to spontaneous mardi-gras formation at your location. At that point, raping of a wheel will be the least of your worries.

there might not be enough thread on the stud to get thru the bolt holes, as if you take a look there's a flattened out area (at the back when mounted correctly) to mount solid up against the hub, give it a go man, you probably cant drive on it anway as over a bump it'll foul in the middle of the tyre lol!

I would flame you, but there is too much gay in this thread for me to stay and post any longer.

Stick it on & try to drive, Id say there will be so much pressure on the hub that it will feel like you are dragging the back end. Give it a go, fit it. It would be as quick as lining a rim beside a rim & taking a pic,

that hyundai is awesome. should do some custom bodywork like we saw ages ago on the last forums where those guys turned old mercs into supercar look-alikes.
bucket loads of bog could make it look like anything.
go for the complete bogan backyard spec.
