Looks awesome man, Good to see it does drift.
Grille and lights look strange couldn't work out why for a while, but I reckon they look good..

I'm Roy by the way, sort of half met you at the QR drift day when I mistook you for Cass.

yeh the grill i got was all cracked and stuff..so i hacked it apart (sacreligious i know!) and painted the inside grat/silver, and the outline in gloss black with a clear over the lot..looks better than the faded gold/foggy Levin ones i see everywhere on ADM 86's!!

5th August 2005, 03:48 PM
very nice mate
a pic of it was posted the other day and i was asking bout it
i never used to like coupes but they are growing on me especially this one, just curious did u buy it converted or do it yourself

mattysshop
8th August 2005, 03:30 PM
i made the indicators myself, i did pretty much everything that you see aside from a bit of wiring, and welding..it came with the factory fitted stock bigport..had 25 deg of advance, CIA, exhaust..went alright..then i put a rod through the block in my frequint adventures to the revlimiter http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif..so i decided to up the antie to a GZE..did the whole conversion myself over a weekend..and old mate Mr Anthoney Kellam wired her up for me..eventually..then stock (befor head work, and 3sge tb) it ran 13.9's..got a few videos of it..i'll host them and put some links up..

stock GZE ecu..yeh the idle speed controller is what doesn't like the pipes..so i just took the 47mm GZE throttle body off..machined out slightly the s/c down pipe, and bolted on a 58mm 4AGE one..no idle speed conrtoller to be seen anymore..just another useless plug left in the engine bay http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif
