bump!!!!
old engine is blowing smoke all over thanks to the ingenious design of TOYOTA 20v pistons.
currently trying to get the new 20v to run. was filling up the radiator yesterday so i can start it up. only to realise that water was leaking as i was filling up the water. i forgot to tighten my waterpump bolts http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/angry.gif
in the process of bolting tight, i broke the top left bolt for the waterpump. now its so bloody tight to remove, i prob. have to pull waterpump out to remove this bolt frm the block. u gotta love rwd 20v's.
heres a pic of my running car

a little update and a bump as well.
got the new 20v in. same engine, silvertop 20v.
however, the ecu tuning was way way off. couldnt even idle. this brings me to the theory that different 20Vs have different quads? i wasnt getting much vacuum reading at all on this engine.
anyway took it for a tune and got the fuel delivery to run primarily on TPS. made 94 healthy KW on wheels http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif
