Hi, I have this parker light (the whole assembly with indicator) that I was sold and told it was a "late model ae86" light. So I thought it was a Kouki Levin light. I was under the impression that these fitted into any Levin guard from ae85 to the latest ae86...
anyway it didnt fit and is the wrong shape to fit to the guard cut out.
Also the screw hole that goes through the indicator is in the wrong place and is definately not in the same spot as a jap kouki one (going by pics off the net)
It has the markings 12-193R
My Aus lens has 12-203R
Here are some pics:

If anyone can tell me that'd be tops!
Cheers,
Rob

My guess is that its from a AE82 but i could be wrong

Yeah, I thought this also but I have heard that the AE82 fits the sprinter guard (not that pretty but will go in) and that its a bit short... This one is actually a bit long to go in the hole...

ask for your money back, or get an angle grinder

Yeah thats the plan, but I wanted to know what it was first... So I would have something to say when the knob in the wrecker says "Nah mate, its for a late model ae86, I told you that but you still wanted to put it on your early model one"... I'm sure you know how it works
EDIT: some pics of an ae82 one in a sprinter guard... light looks quite different

s13 ??
RobertoX
31st August 2005, 08:33 PM
I am pretty sure that its not 82/92
82 is shorter than 86 one, 92 is rounded at the top and slopes down...
s13 has a slope on the rear edge of the indicator, plus mine is definately a Toyota item as it says "TOYOTA" on it http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

Huh?? http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/blink.gif I think you're a little confused. I think Keni is a moderator on there because she used to own a Laser. But I've never been on a ford forum in my life!

Post a pic of them fitted if you can.
I'm rather interested in seeing these on a car, as I have never heard of Aus-specs having Kouki like lights before O_o

Ok the light you have is a European edition, the build dates are 5/85 to 4/87
The part number is 81610-12300 and they retail for $260 inc GST
to the guy with the same model as the light, can you get me a chassis/VIN number that is located on your firewall, Im interested on what i can find out about it, being a Euro edition.
