Anybody have a Orign Lab kit?

Just wanted to know if anybody has pictures of the origin Lab kit (excluding the pics from website) and if anybody in Oz has one or sells em.

Ive never seen one in Australia before? only streeter stuff.

Leighton Fine has a origin lab kit on his car, at the moment you can only get them from South Australia.

JMS went under but they are coming back though **i think** so no they dont sell them. D1 garage is run by denzo's brother james.

I just put a large deposit on a Origin kit for my 86, they just did an order for them, but give them a call and ask for Rob, hes very helpful.

Yeah sure D1 should have them 3-4 weeks time,

Ill do a stage by stage pics so you all know what your all up againist, but from my impression Origin is the 'better brand' of kit.

yep, when it's on my car, all painted, etc, i'll show you.

all kits need special mounts, as they're made of fibreglass, and not moulded plastic.

Origin kits are better than Streeter kits in quality, as well as shape. i'm not talking design when i say shape, either. Streeter front bars have a bow in them, like a dip, across the top of the bar. recently they started reinforcing them...but too late...the damage is done. everyone knows his kits are crap.

if you put a streeter front bar next to an Origin one, you can see the difference in the quality...without trying. overall finish is better, with a flatter surface all round, etc.

like i mentioned, Josh had to spend a week on his front bar to get it up to scratch. i spent 5 minutes on an Origin bar rubbing it back ready for paint...

Fine is actualy only using origin side skirts and rear bar the front is a vertex bar.

A kit will probably take more like 8 to 10 weeks to come over from japan if d1 doesn't have any in stock.
