It might if i hit a big bump at speed or something. but hasn't hapened yet..
TRD rear springs may drop it lower, so it might.

Heres who did the cage. http://www.bondrollbars.com/
Cages do improve stiffness for sure.

the konigs 15x7 0-offset (only size/offset available i think) cost $250per rim from Ozzy, thats what i got quoted anyway, you can buy them from USA for $220ea incl. shipping! but only if you can get past customs without paying import duties which isnt too hard http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif

E V A N

wheres a review on the suspension?

E V A N
19th December 2005, 09:50 AM
ok then

Front suspension consisting of..

Custom AJPScoilover with AJPS 9kg spring, KONI sleve and KYB inserts
Are very good indeed.
No understeer at all with my 195/50 15's
matched with the T3 RCS'a and Camber Plates
and JIC tension rods.. and powersteering arms
this is a competant steerer.. The lock is fanstastic turn in and response is great. With the TRD 7kg on the back it is very tail happy and lift off oversteer is very controllable, and on the limit oversteer is great to control. I wouldn't recomend that stiffer spring on the rear for beginners. 6kg would be fine.
over she is very happy whooping some serious cars on the bends.
Thanks Dave

with stockys on the back how hard is it to control what speeds can you drift at?

E V A N
14th March 2006, 06:39 PM
Its fine hey.. i was drifting with old 175 tyres at over 130km/h with good control.. but there not ideal.. but my car hasn't the power to link a complete area with ease using the 15" mags
so to be easy on the car i use 13" tyres.. so i don't have to pop everytime.. feels like it has 300 hp with the stockies on lol

E V A N
14th March 2006, 06:41 PM
i recomend OLD 13" tyres on the back.. i bought new ones for eastern creek and in the later part of the day i put them on and struggled.. too much sidewall flex and just awful..
the old tyres seem to have stiffer hard side walls but they delaminate in huge chunks lol

-Brent-

G'day Evan....

I have watched your build up with lots of envy....

My build up is about 12 months behind yours http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/blink.gif http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

Any intention of installing your 288 cams sometime soon?? if not any chance of borrowing them http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif just kidding.......

I am interested in what gains you would expect, ie where the power would come in at and rpm limit..?

I am considering similar cams in the future (once I get my biatch started -wiring http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/huh.gif http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/blink.gif )
