thaks for that dude...as much as i hate it i might just go trhough Ozzy....bit easier to deal with as they are in the same country i suppose...wont be buuying them for a while, as my car needs a new engine first!

How are you finding the new clutch? do you recomend an upgraded clutch even for just a 4age? just curious as i am doing my conversion soon and dont know whether i should get a better item or just replace it with a stocker...

OBE353
17th January 2006, 07:35 PM
i think u should upgrade your clutch, not talkin over the top but just a H/duty one, my workmate (does countless amounts of burnouts) went through 3 stock clutches (within like 20k kms) then decided to get a paddle clutch it was only like a lil more than double the price of a stock 1 and it is still goin strong now and its done over 40k kms. so its saved him money in the long run and hassles.

my 50 cent http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/ph34r.gif

Bustin_86
17th January 2006, 08:28 PM
yeh ive just been looking on ebay (scungy, i know) and there was a uprated clutch that was supposedly 70% better than stock for just $200 odd dollars opposed to $120 for a stocker. I think uprated is the go...as i do like to clutch kick a bit.

Peace outtttt

Justin

Poor Craig, I feel guilty now, all these nice new shiny bits and Craig can't try them out because I've got his car! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/blink.gif

The steering is very direct, feels great even though it hasn't had a wheel alignment yet, the car just seems to flow around corners like water. It's a little heavy at initial turn in but gets lighter the further you turn it.

The clutch handles those 4th gear clutch kicks approaching the roundabout near my place really well keeps it very sideways...... oops I mean ummm I don't know whether the clutch handles abuse because I ummmm haven't abused it......... much. http://www.thepurplecircle.com/forums/style_emoticons/Sketch/angel.gif

I was wondering if anyone here knew the weight of the stock flywheel? just for comparisons sake. Also, how do find the tokico's on the track with the adjustment?
