i was under my car and realised that the chasis rails under car frm front to back are bent upwards. looks asthough it got dented hitting a speed hump real hard. i actually thought i screwed up my chasis somehow. then i thought:-

1. if its because of impact, it should have a sharp edge. it was linearly rounded upwards (below front seats).

2. impossible for me to bend both sides so perfectly the same.

3. saw exactly the same bent thing in 2 other sprinters http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif *sigh of relieve*

Ps. pls check under ur 86 so i know for sure http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/7/5/4/536981.jpg thanks

mine are all f***ing, i think its from the last person putting the jack in the wrong place though. i could also be wrong and its jsut been trashed to the sit house witch is mre that likely the reason

lol they may be all like that but they didnt come like that factory. My last one was like that, and also had creases in the smaller rails further back. My current one is straight and has no chassis deformaties, I cant notice any difference in handling.

Maybe yours was done with wrong jacking or even a forktruck? (is it an import? http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif )

Ive checked under Several AE86's including mine , (Schao), (cj_sullivans),(wanted AE86) and they all have the slope in it.

Some ive seen have folds, due to jacking on the Chassis rail, but it wouldnt be perfect on both sides. Heck i've even bent mine with a jack, i just bashed it back out with a hammer.

The first thing i noticed when i jumped into my first sprinter was how the floor pan was. Both sides at the back of the left drivers side, and right passengers side foot wells have this massive big indent in them? Just before the seat.....

What is the go there?........
