I picked up this little gem up at SKYE in adelaide! just saw it in sum dudes driveway and decided to knock on the door and enquire about purchesing it...turns out he was going to take it to NORTHPOINT TOYOTA that day to trade it in...i quickly scooped it up for $2500! hes the second owner of this lil 86 and hes had it for 15 years! WOW! ive had it now for 3 months and i love it to pieces! needs new shockers though...its a good excuse to do the springs too i spose! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif im pretty new to the whole drifting thing! tried it out bout a year ago in a DATSUN 120Y, wasnt too bad...i quite enjoyed myself! it broke in the end...like unfixable broke (i think due to too much thrashing) ah well! i havnt done it since then...plus, when u do it u cant stay in one place too long coz stupid people like calling stupid cops and security nstuff and ur under constant threat! why cant they just be good people and just watch or sumthing...free show! yeah, i know i could just go to MALALA or AIR but when u feel uv got the earge to thrash or drift at 2 in the morning or whateva...screw everyone...im drifting!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/angry.gif anyway, iv picked up the lovely sport of drifting again since iv had my 86 and im doin fine!! im just sticken to latenite drifting! when i first drove it i was really impressed with the way these things handle...i cant wait to put in my new shocks and springs, there sitting in the workshop rite now waiting for me to just slip them in!! everyday im learning sumthing new bout these things from finding out that the front headlights and parkers are different from the japenese ones, too realising that the lower control arms and much of the cars front suspention can be salvaged off of a KE70 regarding a certion occasion were in the first couple of drifts i did were really good till i hit a gutter!! the re-learning prosess didnt go so well! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/dry.gif anyway, here she is.....

ps. if the picture of my car doesnt come up that meant ive had technicle difficulties and pictures will be up ASAP!!

other than the stupid crap 4A-C the car is fantastic! planning to put a 4A-GE in it one day... http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif till then, im gona have many yeares of happy motoring! then the beast is to be taken off the road and stripped to the bone, painted PANDA WHITE or RED and a re-built 4A-GE will be plonked into the engine bay! im a 2nd year auto mechanic and funds are very low at the moment! its not like the cars gonna run away from me!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/cool.gif itl be done eventually!! till then only minor mods will be done like suspention, mags and maby even a NARDI steering wheel...oh, and to keep the thing in good working order!

Looks good. Did you check out the rear hatch. Normally that is the worse place for rust.

Cheers

good buy, I like the colour. When I bought my white sprinter I was after a blue one, and I gona spray my car blue too this summa. blue is cool. especially you still have the sprinter sticker on the doors.

yeah, when i first bought the car i went for a rust seeking adventure! just to see what im up against! theres rust under the hatch, near the wheel guard and behind the L/H side revision mirror (i know that coz when i bought the beast it had no mirror in it...had to get 1 cut for it) other than that its just general surface rust thats hardly noticeable under things like doors n'stuff!

NUTHING MONEY WONT FIX!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif
