let me start a thread for radiator, I've heard ca18 s13, hyundai excel, old commodores, anyother good one? I'm after something that is thick, twin core with metal end tank.

Also anyone knows if an intercooler can be used as a radiator(with some mod)? seeing intercooler are sold very cheap these days like 200 but aluminu radiator prices are at least 500-600.

i just went to the wreckers with a tape mesure..hit up the radiator rack..and grabbed me a 3 core metal end tanks and all..the bottom one lined up..but the top one was on the other side..any radiator shop will be able to swap it over, or just get some hose that fits.. the radiator shop said it looked like a nissan Urvan rad..meh? the radiator holds just as much water as the engine! but i might not be using it anymore..it has been recoed/recored buy redevil, i'll swap you your stock 86 one and $50!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

Wow sounds good I like that 3 core rad, I'd certainly swap but I'm in Sydney.=( I just saw an ae71 rad on ebay, both in/outlet on driver side and has 2 core. By rough measurement its a little too tall and little too narrow. But I'll go wrecker and get one measure it next to my rad and see how big the difference is.

shipping? it's not that expensive..it ould be like $10-$15 through aussie post..chuck it in a box covered infoam and take her down to the post office.. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif i don't mind shipping mine..it cost $80 for the rad, and $110 for the reco.. but i need a spare 86 rad http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

mazda radiators, off a efi 323. they have the top tank inlet in the middle but that is no real issue, and bottom outlet where is should be. 75 bux from a wrecker

A mate of mine is using a radiator out of an st182 celica. Its a little longer than stock, but is twin core. He also uses twin fans on it and hasn't had a problem yet. (He is running a ca18det in his sprinter)

hey genkin,

you sure thats a s13 radiator?
looks a fair bit taller than mine and mines only single core(mines a ca radiator)
mines mounted hard up against the rad support and bonnet closes and everything

wouldnt mind upgrading to twin core if i can fit it how mines mounted right now, cant angle it back like yours as the cooler piping is in the way

cheers
