i was searching 240z's and i came across this link on a Honda forum.. i was going to post it in the post whoring thread but i really think it deserves its own thread...

i love 240s and this thing is sweet. it says they were aiming for it to be a nine second car but nobody knows what time it ended up running.. only really read the first page the rest are just peoples opinions on it..

awesome.

me 2 dude me 2... but finding them (and cheaply) is even gheyer than finding an 86 without the takumi tax.. i would prefer to find a damaged one ..

anyone heard of a manga called wangan midnight?

such beautiful, boss cars.. exept my zed will be a build from scratch car, so its absoloutley immaculate.

i reckon the best bet is to buy one that has been restored to original and go from there.. fork out for that would probably save u money.

i think they purge weld (fusion) without filler wire. And the discoloration is normal for titanium. Love how the japs do the bends, instead of using a seperate 90degree mandrel, just cut up the bend into 10oddsections and show true craftmanship.

Not sure if titanium can be mandrel bent so thats why it is welded.
