update, update yo
couple of things have changed.
had an incident in the hills the other week. lets just say
guard rail 1 - chapl 0
anyway, got new parts that i needed and have put them on.

Joel-86 flared my metal guards for me and i put them on, as i smashed my fibre glass ones.

Cheers to dave @ AJPS for some coilovers and swaybar.
and cheers to damo for cheap labour work! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tup.gif found out after a wheel allignment that i have -5 degree camber!!!!!1111 hektic brah. also he adjusted toe for hektic turn in.

have decided to take the car off the road. will prob still register it and take it on the odd thrash and late night hills run.......so no biggy.

so, ive stripped the interior fully, ripped my aircon off (this shit weigh's like 10kg!) now my car runs a bit cooler.

also put my j-blood skirts on, bought an oil pressure guage (yet to be fitted), sparco gear knob, sparco steering wheel.

so yeh thats bout it, i will have pics up as soon as my camera is charged.

Is the safc the only electrical 'tuning' ur using running that setup at 80rwkws?[/b]

yeh mate.. and made over 200Nm of torque to!
once i have aftermarket managment, a light flywheel and new diff ratio.. it should go pretty well.

i think 95 is do-able
wait and see eh?

mmm why you go with stock bottom end?

great car, great engine set up, sticking with 16v, good stuff man, this is really good stuff :2thumbs:

do u reckon the safc can do its job when u pushing it to 95rwkws? or its the time for a new stand alone ecu

na safc wont cut it, also with the stock ecu the rev limiter is 7300.. so to get that bit more power ill need new ecu to let the cams rev to around 8500

Oh nice man!

Sorry to be a post seller, im really only trying to help lol, but i could do you a very good deal on a brand new TRD 2 way and a Microtech LT10s. I undertsand that your probably loyal to AJPS and thats sweet lol, just thought i would offer :)

Thrashing sounds like fun aye! To whate extent did they blueprint your engine? Im hoping to get my 4age very similar to yours, except with a bit more headwork, bigger cams and a dry sump setup... see how we go anyway :)

Oh ok i see.... sorry just i was talking to local engine builder and said that some places classify blueprinting as a basic rebuild lol. What a joke. I intend on getting all of my shit weight matched and cleared etc...

Yeah 7age woud be pretty pimp man, personally i just want a normal old 4age. Bit of a purist, not really since its going into the 72 lol, but i just want to build a normal 16v so yeah.

Is it true that they are much torquier?

I'll shoot you a pm man. Thanks for the convo.

Hey man, great thread and build, car looks awesome, wish I could see and hear it go :)

Question about your rims, what tire sizes and brand are you running on them? I also have some Watanabes that are in 15x8 with 0 offset, and looking to fit tires for grip/hills work, basically will a 205 fit inside my standard guards? Could you help me out?
