Good work Takai, its starting to come together

Interesting that you decided to keep the booster, though you might have gone for a pedal box / balance bar arrangement starlight up

one thing to keep in mind is that with big cams & long periods of wide open throttle you may run into a scenario where you don't have enough vacuum being generated once you snap the throttle shut.

if your currently picking your vacuum up from 1 runner, a way around this is to tap into all 4 of the manifold runners and then combine the lines into a small storage tank that you can then hook the booster up to.

catch ya

Takai, what sort of races will you be competing in and what brake bias adjuster is that?

Thanks Chris.
It is indeed coming together. And rather quickly now too. I did consider the possibility of going straight for a remote pedal box and ditching the booster altogether, and i have also thought about going to an unboosted master. But with my new found skills of bundy bending both of those are relatively simple prospects later on down the track. When i last had the car running i had a small resevoir for the vacuum and i was picking up vac off all four runners.
For now im going to ditch the resevoir and see how it goes, if i end up running short on vac ill probably just do what you were suggesting initially and ditch the booster altogether.

For those who were wondering what sort of racing ill be doing, ill be in the same series (Improved Production) as Chris, just a different state (SA). The bias adjuster is a Wilwood "screw until you can screw no more" bias adjuster, and is to get a fairly generic proportioning for front to rear happening. When I get some practice in i will also be using a 7 way lever type adjuster for corner to corner work.

Some specs and stuff coming... maybe http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

What M/C is that?

Also do you think the stock MC would be okay for JDM fronts and RT142 rears? (restrictor removed)

i know a guy that raced in that class last year and will be racing in it again , he had an NA white magna with 180kw's atws and now has 240kw's atws NA (yes i know 240 atws in a NA 6 thats street orientated is very hard to belive) ...he finished on the podium quite alot ... i think there is also a very quick little rx3 in this class to ?

ill be very interested to see how u fair, specially as ull be racing against a brand of car that im selling to get a better suited car for track, ill probably have to go watch one weekend
