Jason
27th January 2006, 08:36 PM
To my surprise the motor was in REALLY good nick, so its at the engine builders atm getting honed and clean. The pistons were in excerlant nick as well. But any way its getting a balence, but i lost some flywheel bolts when it was in peices http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/ph34r.gif so some new ones through toyota are on there way.

Any way a lot a time passed on now it looks something like this...

Ok hoildays so work can start again

Got stright into by mounting the Radiator and IC, yes there is clearance between the bonnet... Just
IC fits so snugly behind the grill Had to make new brakets for the bonnet lack aswell IC fouled the old one

Now i just got to insulate the IC from the steel braket

My goal is to try to get the motor in the car in 3 weeks, the main thing holding my back is some work with the manifolds of the SC and inlet that need to be reworked. It hard to get to the southside after school but hopefully going down there this friday and just maybe ill get them back before i go to school.

BTW the head is torqued down, inlet shims been ajusted, and now i just need to shims for the exhust cuze there would out by a bit more... bastards cost $16 each !

i bought my self a little present which was wy overdue 140amp ark welder. only cost me $106 which includes another another pack of sticks and a welding square.

any way i got staight into making up my supercharger brakets, i ran out of sticks before i could completly finish the other support http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tdn.gif and i didnt bother stiking it on for the pic as i have to attach it from under the car (bolts to the under side bolts of the intake manifold), i can stand on the supercharger with the front bracket by its self without flex http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif there welds a look stody but they all got good penatration lol penatration

ive also complated the main part of the MS loom they took a good day, still needs to be hooked up to the computer which also need to be mounted. Im still looking for a intake sensor connector (the one that bolts into the top part of the manifold) to finsh it.

all my brand spanking new brake stuff has all arrived finally, i bought 8m of bundy tubeing, a pair of hilux front strut flex hose, pipebender, double flarer. So i will have brakes that work soon hopfully http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif
