I have driven it. Very nice car http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif It has coilovers and an LSD. But I will let Nathan tell you all about his pride and joy.

Pretty much stock. Has stiff shocks and springs all round. adjustable camber tops up front. The engine appears to be stock (but somewhat broken at the moment http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/sad.gif ), has an LSD, and a "limit" cat back exhaust. Ecu also appears to have been chipped whilst in Japan. Basic interior stuff like lack of stereo, Nardi wheel and a water temp guage and a drift button. I think that's it.
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif
Oh it also has a very tough clutch http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif Can't wait to get it back on the road, it's soooo much fun to drive http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/happy.gif Hopefully Nathan JDM86 can come up with an engine or something http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/happy.gif

Another 4AGE of course http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif The only other engine that belongs in an ae86 as far as I'm concerned is a 20v. N/A for life. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

I love it, genuine Levins are THE COOLEST!
Its only after you look at a local one that you notice all the differences
and there are many. I had some guy in a Silvia paying my Levin out
the other day till i told him my car cost twice as much in Japan as his did.
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif Plus, one in good condition isn't on every street corner. LOL

Haha cheers adam http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif WIll be soon dude! No nissan motor in the toyota, don't worry http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif
Just another stock 16v at the moment. WIll do some mods as the cash comes in.

UEO, haven't seen too many JDM ones around! See the odd one, but like you said they arne't on every corner http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

Keisuke - Haven't seen the second stage of Initial D, so I didn't buy it casue of that http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif But someone at work once called me Tak!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/ohmy.gif

Fixed handbrake this morning. Shiny new cable from toyota. Engine in soon. Woohoo.

LordNafe
4th February 2006, 02:03 PM
As far as I know they are http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif It's got some holes where it has previously had flares, so maybe they were pumped out a bit then?

Hey Dude, will be coming over to pick up your hachi sometime this week (provided the new car trailer is finished), so that we can get your engine stripped out and start the rebuilding process!! I will also find you a pair of front tyres to go on your new wheels, so make sure they are in the car too.

Will have you back out on the track in no time!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/2thumbs.gif

For those who don't know, I blew up the stock motor that replaced the 5age. Right now 5age si in at Road and Track in Ipswich, terryo's workshop, getting rebuilt. Hopefully ti will be done by mid January, and with even more luck the car will be running again mid-late January. just have to se how I go with cash and time!
Everyone, pleasssssssse buy ym stuff so I can get it drifting again!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

What suspension set-up have you got in that now? Looks like the front could do with a bit of a drop http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

LordNafe
3rd January 2007, 12:20 AM
It's pretty much how it was from Japan http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif Unknown shocks and springs in the front, quite stiff, but not enough, and unknown shocks in the rear. Rear shocks are the commo wagon type short strokers.
It's also now 2 seater and has xt130 LCA's. Other than that, not much has changed yet http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif
