Hey All

Got myself a stock 1983 AE86 the other day, really tidy car, 214,xxx km 6 months rego, uncracked dash, clean immaculate interior, a few shopping trolley dents but the duco is in good condition, came with factory mags also, 2 owners 2nd owner had it 15 years of its life.

Only rust in the car is in the bottom corner of the doors on the inner skin. The bonnet is a bit faded but will recieve a fresh coat of factory gold paint soon.

The motor had a knocking sound from the bottom end, we knew it was simply a loose cam belt casing the distributor drive to knock easy fix.

The photos show the car with my XR4 wheels fitted these were a test fit and the stock factory mags will go back on soon.

Future Ideas:
up grade the suspenion and brakes
build a hybrid quad throttle, super charged, 7age motor <1.8 twincam>

7afe bottom end with AE92 4agze pistons and rings
4age small port head
4age 20v throttles <black or silver top ones not sure> on adaptor plate to suit 16v
custom inlet chamber
front mount intercooler and piping

just an idea, I have fiddled with a simple 7age setup in a friends car but this will be more advanced if it goes ahead.

Have to finish the KE20 first.
