DRF786, i wouldnt worry bout the cannon being defected. Its sorta like window tint (its illegal, but what isnt these days), as long as the car doesnt drown the neighbourhood in noise the cops wont take a second look... if even a first

dirty_86
3rd September 2006, 07:40 PM
thanks! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif reason for the manifold was i wasn't too sure about having extractors here in N.S.W as it doesn't allow mods for P platers, i tink u gotta get engineers i wil get extractors later on.. i did sum work and tested the engine to c what its like got sum pics http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif tell me what u guys think

Hey guys, guess you havnt heard from me (the other half of the equation) much.

Just updating, i dropped of my car at Trick Fit today in Chipping Norton. They're going to fit my silvertop into my hachi for about 2300. (1700 for mechanical and 600 for wiring) drf-86s hooked us both up with a fuel setup which should be coming in during the weekend. I still have to source extractors and an exhaust but everything else should be sweet. Trick Fit are also offering pretty competitive engineers cert's from one of theyre mates.

They estimate it should be finished roughly by the 25th of October.

Cant wait to see my baby again!

P.S And yeh drf-86s, nice dualies on a single spinner, dno how u did it http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

Can anyone explain why the two rear wheels were spinning while I was performing a burnout on an open differential. We brought out DRF786's lovely car out for legal spirited driving, definitely not near his area. I attempted a burnout, and as we came across the tire marks again, we noticed two tire lines instead of one. The marks were definitely from DRF786's rust-free, mint condition car.

What could be the possible reasons as to why the two wheels were spinning on an open differential. I was thinking the differential is intercoursed.

I'd would have to agree with ol' chap. My diff has seen better days, the driving wheel wobbles and it isn't because the wheel is loose.
