Tell that to Youichi Imamura!

I think all these roadster type cars being compared to an ae86 kinda suck.
The ae86 manages to retain 4 seats (with good roomage) in the wheelbase and a roof and still be under 1000kg.

Hard to compare a new car to a 20 year old car on a weight basis. Elises will have a much stronger body standard than a sprinter and still weigh around 850-900kgs. You also take the back seats out of sprinters anyways http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif

Ahhhh true in technology comparison of diff ages.
But about the seats. I meant that it is not cabin room for 2, it is a full car sized cabin and still weighing equal or less than the "compact" roadsters. That was more my point.......

Hey..
was an amzing weekend.. such a big event. Adelaide is lovely and there were so many hot ladies.!! Coopers promo girls were fine as!
Taking it easy in the first couple of races.
qualified second due to lack of track knowledge.. ended up 2 sec faster at the end of the weekend. The track is great fun but very scary.. those walss are hard as i would find out..Being blocked by some group A drivers was frustrating and my pace was evident yet i lacked some luck in racing.
These things are so hard to see out of.. next to no rear vision, so it was nerve racking in the begining. The last race was fucken crazy.. everyone left there comon sense at the hotels so there was carnage from the first turn onwards. I managed to miss most of this and dived from a 14th grid position into a 9th position within 4 corners with some exciting braking duels! Then on the second lap on turn 5, not seeing a oil or slick flag out, i was screaming in with a healthy bit of trail braking and settled the weight to the rear with the throttle.. then after the apex the arse suddenly snaps and i catch it but i don't have the room to slide out of it and hit the tyres and wall.
what a prick!
I will have some pics later on tonight.

Hey Evzorz, Congrats on the weekend dude, shame about the off, but its hard to escape the concrete on a street circuit. So where can we find a shedual or calendar of events for your upcoming races? will you always be following the V8 series? or will there be some events on their own.

Anyway, keep up the good work dude.
