Minowa is so enthusiastic about his car that he looks after all the parts of it, except for the engine. He had been in and out of D1 in the past; however, since he started receiving support from Goodyear, he improved a lot and he now is a regular member of the tsuiso tournament. His style is to start swinging earlier than other AE86 drivers. Therefore, he goes for full throttle during drifting.

This season he is running an s15, but a nice lookin one IMO. I like the colour scheme.

Shinji is the man. If you havent seen the DVD Tokyo Underground, grab it. When it was being filmed he was running a maroon FD3S with "mirror" doors (if you have followed D1 for a while you prolly remmeber it) and using his blue levin for highway racing and industrial area drifting (he is drifting with his windows open with a plastic bag and sheet of bubblewrap blowing all around the cabin).
Bloody funny also when he is trying to speak kool american homeboy english.
But he sed somethin deep among the funny shit "Its all about heart" (refering to drifting etc).

oh and that workshop, good lookin do some of the maddest custom panel work ever.. when i was there a week ago they were grafting 350z front guards onto an FD, steel not copys, and it looked insane, will try and get some pics when im there next.... they were closed today http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/sad.gif shinji is a legend, almost as highly regarded as Hibino as far as 86's are concerned in these parts of japan.......

im not too sure as i am yet to meet him, he now drives for himself and his own workshop, and i kinda get the feeling that there is some bad blood somewhere between him and shino, so not sure how much i can speak to him as she is my only interpreter at the moment!
