Welcome, here are some pics of my wifes' new "learn to drift" project. Obviously we have spent very little time on the looks of the car, and just a little bit more on suspension etc.

The idea for this project is for us to learn how to drift without the worry of a damaging my drift car
I am sure we will both learn a hell of alot due to the lack of power etc.

Look out for it at this friday's QR night drift event, it will be attempting to carve up the skidpan.

Three cheers for female drifters!!!!!!!!!

Engine: 4AC powerhouse

Exhaust: 1 1/2 inch "MOTEC" big bore system. (For that almighty ROAR)

Suspension: EA Falcoon KING springs all round, SW20 short stroke shocks (FR), HQ Holden shocks ®, AE86 brake upgrade, Sigma lower control arms (for that camber goodness), Yet to be fitted.....Strut braces, double rear swaybar and some other silly stuff. .....It even has a Dildo style crystal gearknob!!!!!

Wheels: 15 x 7 SSR XR4's (FR) 15 x 7 SSR reverse mesh ® fitted with 195/50/15 Nankang NSII's (Worth more than the car lol)

Modifications: Body deadener removed. (Cause it makes sooooooo much difference )

Stereo Audio / Visual: Yeah right

Estimated Power: 40rwhp of raw unadulterated ball tearing POWA!!!!

At this stage it will be restricted to the skidpan, it still has the original clutch so i doubt it will last long lol.

I do plan to get it out there in the future.....stock 4AC, locked diff, new clutch and some 155/13 tyres haha

Alot of handbrake and alot of clutch kicking

Your running Falcon springs all round?? How do they fit in the front? And what mods are required to fit the sw20 shocks? Sorry for all the questions, ae71's excite me..............

The falcon springs are a bees' dick larger than the spring perch at the front.....so i simpy spot welded the springs to the top hat and the spring perch. A modifcation that is not uncommon in Japan but for some reason has not caught on here. Quick touch on the weld with a grinder releases them again. (It does take a bit to get the right penetration due to the big differnece is steel thickness, i have to do mine again cause one weld has popped http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/sad.gif )

The SW20 shocks are quite simple, they just require a spacer at the base of the strut. There is info on this site about how this works.
