what gearbox can i use

Hi new to the corolla seen.this might be commin knowledge to sum but i just purchased a 4K-c motor with a k40 gearbox. What i want to know is there any other 5 speed manual gearbox i can put behind this motor (eg t50) or can you only put a K50 behind it. Any info would be great

k50 only to my knowledge.

well there are actually bell housings for W box, but theyre very rare.

id guess theyre out of 7k powered lite ace vans, which use a G series box. which is the same as a W box, just has the mount on the top. (but the bolt patern where it bolts to the bell is the same).

There did exist a T50 for K series motor. I think it was for a KE35 in 1974, as a 5 speed option. But it was only available for a few months untill they developed the K50. Probably not in Australia either.
