It came with the car when i bought it... but to buy a new one with a hand controller it's about $1400

verm69
11th May 2006, 04:22 PM
$1200ish... $1400 and your getting riped

driftism
11th May 2006, 09:04 PM
They don't make the LT-8 any more so you have to get the LT-10s as a minimum... add on a hand controller and thats fairly close to $1400

driftism
14th May 2006, 03:17 PM
made a "Garden Stylez" front lip.... cost $20... looks pretty good for that!

still got 7 meters of the stuff if anyone wants one..

Not too hard, you just screw some ally strips into the side of the lights, sikaflex them for extra strength and then screw them to the standard headlight brackets.

as for oem sideskirts, i'd get some if i had money! Bending rims doesnt help either...

Finished Putting the t-series diff and LSD in today. Drives so much nicer, especially seeing as one of the bearings on the old diff fell apart in my hands when i removed the centre.

Also chucked in the JDM box while i had the car on the hoist... shifts a lot better, but is a bit noisier. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/sad.gif

Also got some pics we took the other day:

Been a while since i updated anything on here, so i thought i'd fill you in.

I somehow managed to break my JDM box, so i've put the original one back in... with the JDM bellhousing attached to it. I also managed to break the clutch line in the same weekend, so now there is an unbreakable braided one in it's place.

I've also fitted a new head gasket and removed all the stuff from the engine bay that didn't need to be there (most of it) and it's been resprayed, so it looks nice and pretty now http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

also fitted some new rear springs, out of the front of a mk1 cortina, which are nice and stiff... just need to upgrade the front stuff now, and replace some bushes in the rear end.

Getting the LSD shimmed, a new radiator fitted and the clutch replaced for something a bit stronger is all on the cards next.

Think that's about all for now....

driftism
5th September 2006, 01:16 PM
