Hi All!!!

Just a quick enquiry to everyone who has old bunky T50 gearboxes lying around.

I'm chasing after an extension housing. The 2 spare ones that I have are flogged out, and the one in my car is starting to go as well. If anyone has any in decent condition, let me know, and I'll have to pull my tailshaft out to measure the diameter.

Cheers!

Zack

Hehehe... After your missus has you for a week, I'll book you for the next!!! But I'm NOT bending over to pick up any dropped spanners. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/fap.gif

Yeah, they are 20deg bigger at 1mm of lift compared to the ones that I have, that's if the current cam spec sheet is correct. Should hopefully get me a bit more urge up in the mid to top end. Need all that I can get at the moment, as Gav's EG should be done by the time you get back. In hindsight, I should have bought the S2000 motor and gearbox combo.... http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/dry.gif

Heheh.... Bloody 22mm SnapOn Spanner's a wee bit too painful to pickup! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/greenbounce.gif

I think I've found most of the motor. What else did you need? I've got another wrecked 4AG from Shrek out of an AE82.

Gimme a buzz when you get back, and I'll get all the rest of the stuff for the cylinder head. Don't forget the extension housing!!!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/2thumbs.gif

Just got a bare block and head sitting there, will check out what you have when I'm home.

Might check out the over size valves we were discussing, no big rush though, still sorting suspension and brakes and diff and and and and..... http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/huh.gif

That's the problem with getting caught in this shithole, too many fucken dramas to solve no planning going on.

At least I haven't been accused of being a terrorist for a few months. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

heheh.... No worries...

Pulled the motor out, and the bearings have signs of fatigue. Not bad considering the mileage that has been put on it. I'm trying to work out something with Wilwood on a front brake set with calipers. What calipers did you get for yours?

Billet Dynopro 1.75" pistons http://www.wilwood.com/Products/001-Calipe...4-DRM/index.asp (http://www.wilwood.com/Products/001-Calipers/014-DRM/index.asp)

They do an AE86 kit?? http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/huh.gif

Don't forget I have the drawings for brackets to suit, will have the hat setup sorted when I get back for the 295 x 1" DBA 5000 discs.

I reckon perfect fit for an '86 and light.

Yeah bearings... How many Km on the motor now??

Hehehe..... thought that'll get you going.... http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Nah, they are looking into it... apparently....

Bearings have done 2500+km on the track, and god knows how many on the dyno. I couldn't be happier though. I'd expected a lot less than that. Gav worked out (with Porsche's estimates) that it would equate out to around 500,000+km of street driving... Dunno if I can believe it. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/ohmy.gif

Gimme a buzz when you return, we'll get out for coffee...
