I'm advertising this on behalf of Lenard, so some of you may already know about it. He currently has for sale:

1x recently imported 4A-GE 20v (Silvertop)
1x new Microtech ECU with hand controller (don't know which model)
1x bucket seat
1x Vertex bodykit for an AE86.

He wants $500 for the Vertex kit, and $2,000 for all the rest. I might be buying just the bucket seat though, so you might have to renegotiate the rest with him if you're interested.

does the 20v include loom and computer? how much for it?

ancullen

Yes it comes with loom, and the Microtech is meant to be set up already for the 20v engine.

Lenard wants $2,000, but may come down a bit in price. I think he mentioned $1800, but don't quote me.

Considering a 20v will set you back about $1,000 just for the motor, and a Microtech is about $1,500+ brand new, it's not a bad deal.

is it currently on a crate or something? was the microtech tuned for the 20v already or has he not ran the engine yet?

Sorry, can't help you out with that. Lenard won't be back in the NT as it turns out for another three weeks. I didn't even know he was away. I'll tell him to jump on this site to let you know personally.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure that the Microtech would have come from the factory with the basic 20v settings already programmed in. That's generally what they do.

Who ever buys the 20v I can give you a copy of the tune for it, as I also use a LTX-8. Is it a halfcut or engine and loom?

Just engine and loom. And as the Microtech was only bought very recently (last few months I think), it'll probably also be an LTX-8.

A little off-topic, but you had the engine in your 86 that I want to build up for my 55. Except I plan on using a different turbo (GT28RS, not GT2535) and running a fair bit more boost (think 20psi, not 11psi). Oh yeah, and later on I'd stroke it to make a 7A-GTE. Nice ride, pity she's gone.

whats lenards user name on this site?

He doesn't have a user name (as far as I know), but he could sign up to inform you of what you need to know. I think he's got net access (when he gets home anyway). Although, he did sign up to RollaClub but hasn't been on there in about twelve months, so maybe he doesn't have the net. I'd help you out when he gets back, but if he's coming back in three weeks, then I'm going to be too busy organising final details for my wedding (1/7/06).

Yep, and as soon as the bloody wedding's out of the way we can start saving for a nice rural block which I can fill with old Corollas for spare parts. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Yeah. It looks like if we want to get a block, it won't be in Humpty Doo or Howard Springs due to the ever rising cost in that area. Might have to look at Noonamah or somewhere similar.
