Is there any differences between a JDM and an ADM t50 gear box.

Had the guy at the transmission place tell me no.

I hardley believe it i thought id put the question to all you guys here at ae86dc

Isnt the clutch slave on the other side on a JDM box??

the bellhousing places the slave cyl is on the drivers side but i'm pretty sure everything else is the exact same

Identical inside just the bellhousings differ.

yer just bell im pretty sure, i run a adm box atm with a jdm bell, works fine

aisin and/or toyota fixed a few things up towards the end of the ae86 prod run. i would say a late model t50 is marginally better but theyre all so old now it doesnt matter.

kouki box has a stronger syncro is 1st i think. there is some slight difference, but it is nothing to worry about.
