Help with MonstaTacho Install

Hey guys... just got a tacho off a friend... waant help to install into my stock adm 86(4ac!)
i tapped the red and wire off the headunit.. i was just wondering where the signal wire would go...

the signal wire should go in the bin, along with the rest of the monster tacho http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

but seriously, if its 4ac, correct me if i'm wrong, but you want to connect it to the negative wire of the coil.

Haha... yea its a bit much for a 4ac.. but i got it for free... just installed it and the piggies pulled me over and dikked me for no manuals license http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/sad.gif well thanx for the info guys...

hmm....
my tacho has black, green, white, red and orange

any1 want to try n gues what they all do??

its one of them 7 colour ones n it has a external shift light which is connected to the tacho

rule of thumb, red is almost always +ve and black is ground
