sussed out this free mod the other day and thought i'd post it up, costs you nothing you just use parts off you own car.

firstly your current ADM headlights should look like this

Gilly

now take these off your bonnet and cut the mount tabs off, i can't see what they do, they sit flush with the bonnet so you can't see them whaen the bonnets down.

get some double sided tape, i used the stuff they use to stick badges on with (supercheap $2.50) and stick them to your headlights like so.......

close the bonnet and hey presto!! ADM Eyebrows!!!!! fills the gap nicely and is contoured to the headlight.

sure it's not the best mod in the world but it'll cost you nothing and i reckon it looks cool

Gilly
17th July 2006, 06:02 PM
yeah i think so, don't know how much they are or how they bolt on to the head light as i can't see any provisions for screws on my ADM headlights, mind you JDM and ADM headlights are probably different

yeah theyre different
the jdm ones have two screw holes to bolt the eyelids down
also has little tabs that slid onto the headlight

I doubt you can just buy the jap eyelids and stick them on ADM lights, there is a black section at the bottom of jap lights too... looks like the headlight lens is physically smaller.

I have the eyelid part of the jap brackets siliconed onto my headlights. it's the J.5DM look. Now I'm wondering if I have them under my bonnet aswell, think I'll check after work.

have you thought about spacing them out to sit lower, but still being attached to the bonnet? do they line up? I haven't even looked at my car but just looking at that picture...

cool idea though. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tup.gif

oh i see where he's coming from now, i just couldn't justify the $950 for JDM lights, so i made these for free and bought a cusco 2 way equipped t series instead, it was a hard choice but i made it. (sarcasm may or may not be implied)
