20v Half Cut

Hi guys, need a litte help with getting the 20v engine out of a half cut. I've unbolted all the bolts between the bellhouseing and the engine. I've also unbolted the engine mount that is connected to the left side of the engine(front of the engine when put into the 86). The problem is that it still will not come out. It still seems to be connected the the transmission but i don't know where.

Does anyone have any ideas to the problem. Any help would be cool.

auto or manual?

if its manual then you will have to slide it off the input shaft.

i think you might find that there are two brackets which hold the drive shafts on, you will need to undo these.

what would be easier.. is to unbolt all the subframe bolts.. and the strut bolts.. undo the hub bolts, to remove the shafts from the hubs.. and lift the front cut off the engine.. cos there is the rear mount that kinda wedges its self under the steering rack that is just nicley positioned to give you a really hard time.. but if you have come this far.. there will be a few that your missing.. just keep at it..
