hey guys cuzins got a TA22.. and was wondering if any1 has used that rear end in there sprinters??.. just an idea... is it easy fitting it?

A lot of people use the t series difs in their sprinters, as they are capable of holding many japanese LSD's. Im not sure if the diff in the ta22 is the same as the t18, but if it is, go for it! just need to weld your swaybar mounts on and get the rear half of the driveshaft and your laughing.

TA22 diff is significantly narrower than the AE86. Also I've heard that most of the mounting points don't match up, though have not inspected closely myself.

However the centre from a TA22 diff will bolt into any T series diff housing.

Can vouch for the fact that the TA22 mounts are different. I had both a T18 and TA22 together and the mounts are out by about 10-15mm. Shouldn't be too hard to cut n weld the mounts into the right spots though. As for the width, they are fairly close to the same.

If by 40mm narrower you mean the same, then sure they're the same.

FWIW
TA22, etc. diff = 1370mm
AE86/T18 diff = 1410mm

what comes in d old ra40 celica? r is it just d drive shafts from it that fits a t18..only a question wanna know what t look out for in a wreckers..

The T series diff you want comes from a T18 http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/2thumbs.gif.
Series one has no swaybar mounts, series 2 has them.
