Hey..

can you bolt a 212mm clutch upto a bigport 4age? I believe they have a 200 mm flywheel, so does that mean you need to grab a 212 mm flywheel and bolt that up?

and would that fit into a T50?

or am i missing something here?

212mm fits in T50 and will bolt to your bigport. You just need a clutch to suit the bigger flywheel and T50 input shaft. The clutch from any of the FWD Corollas with the 212mm flywheel fits the bill here.

Or talk to any decent clutch shop and they can sort you out something.

Yeah I'm looking at the Excedy HD clutch 212mm .. the guy at excedy wasnt sure if it would bolt up, but was "pretty sure".. so I thought I'd ask here.

I've always just ordered "excedy hd clutch for ae86" which are 200mm apparently.

They always die really quickly, I thought there wouldn't be too much difference, but apparently there's plenty of difference.

the 200mm ones never really lasted more than 6 months with me.

200mm Excedy heavy duty lasted me a year and a half of monthly drift meets behind a ZE. So I rate them. Only slipped after I started endorsing clutch kicks in 3rd more regularly.

However if you are serious, there is much better available (like brass or ceramic button clutches).
