well i took my 86 down tho the efi guy and he is looking at it. he called me and said that he is finding error codes that refer to all my sensors but needs more time to work it out.
this i know is happening as i unplugged them all before i took it down(tps, tvis, air thermo, water thermo, coldstart, and injector time switch, and map.)even with them all off the engine start and wil run really rich.
i connect the map and the engine dies even with all the other sensors off.
when i have all the other sensors connected it does the same thing. and i tested the injectors and they stop firing,no pulse.
i havnt got a variable resistor installed.
i know that if you havnt grounded the ecu prop to the intake it will stop the injectors from pulsing too but i have that connected
my question is
1)do i need this variable resistor to some how get all the sensors working.
2)and the golden question "whats wrong with my wiring"
any help would be great
