Hey guys,
I've been trying to get a fibreglass hatch and bonnet for awhile now, but shipping from anywhere else but Perth seems to be bloody expensive...
So just wanna find out how many people would be interested in a group buy for fibreglass Bonnets (Trueno or Levin) and fibreglass Hatch?
My plan was to get someone locally to mould it. Lemme know your interest http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

Cheers,
Ken

Yeah its just under a $1000 to get it here Ken (That includes the hatch in that price as well)

Na I'm going CA18DET in the track Hachi. The Trueno will be getting the worked NA 20V.

so far, ive tried 1 place to do these and price i got was 1.5k to 2k for a mould of a hatch, and $1000 for a frp hatch... this was top quality work, they do it for aeroplanes and shit but way to expensive, just letting ya know what ive found so far... but will be trying other places...

Ken

lol your better of learning how to fiberglass instead of paying for those costs http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif
Its pretty easy to learn and do, its only bloody copy, not like they had to model them from scratch

way to bump up a 100 yr old thread. but to answer that question no it did not as the chances of people wanting frp hatches are super low anyway.

does any of the site sponsers sell em ? does any of the places that sell FRP guards and bonnets sell em ?

if theres no group buy surely a sponsor would be keen to order some in ?

Isn't there a guy on here, Andrew, if my memory isn't that bad. He has a fibreglasser by trade and he is making rear wings from a mould and selling them?
