- im working on getting a jdm t50 now.(I know its risky using a t50 but i can learn to stop 6k clutch dumps)

brings back fond memories of ripping out an ae71 pedal box at the wreckers like 20 minutes before they closed as i knew of a dude coming the next morning to pull it out.

i destroyed the cluster, dash pad nad pretty much every plastic trim in that area. pick apart FTW!!

6th December 2006, 03:11 AM
i would of put the ke front on the ae wagon and 4agz'd that shiz, but it looks like a sweet project.

AmyC
6th December 2006, 04:10 PM
Diff is out, crossmember is out.

The ae71 wagon has to much rust in it and it has leaf rear end and id rather coil over setup.

Engine in, T-50 in and now i need to cut up the SC outlet to let the intake pipe face the front of the engine and not the fire wall.

AmyC
14th January 2007, 03:34 PM
Havent done alot lately thanks to christmas but i have actually done something lately.

Cut the holes for the pedalbox and installed pedalbox and reassembled the dash properly, It took me about 5 - 6 hours to cut the holes and put eveything back together. I found a grinding bit that goes onto a drill, I asked the old man how much was it $60, A bit expencive but dam it does a good job made me look pro. Glad thats out of the way now.

thanks to 86sp for the stainless steel intercooler piping and a modified supercharger outlet. The SC outlet is a bit rough so I'm going to take it to a mates place to clean it up and make it flow a bit better.

The SC outlet looks better than in the photo its just a bit rough inside.

Bah i dont see the point in dished wheels apart from looks http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/blink.gif S13 ca18 silvia rims.

4awagon they should fit the rear of your car but they will most likely touch your front struts unless your running adjustable coilovers, some thick spacers will stop it touching aswell.

Andrew
29th January 2007, 12:37 AM
They look tough painted black and about 3 inches lower.

AmyC
29th January 2007, 12:44 AM
Front end lowing comes next with adjustable coilovers mmmmmmm. Undecided what i want to do with the rear end suspension wise so im open to suggestions but remember im not a drifter.

4awagon
29th January 2007, 02:02 AM
im no drifter either, i might put long studs in the front and run 10 mm spacers

AmyC
29th January 2007, 03:59 PM
I need about a 1 inch spacer to fit s13 rims on the front of mine.

Gilly
29th January 2007, 05:57 PM
if you haven't already got your coilovers use the S13 stuff, it will make the wheels fit and not look as ghey as the wheels won't sit as far in the guards. rear end if you are non driftable type something like a low king spring or lovels spring or something like that, or something stiffer again if you are using it for motorsport orientated purposes. i can't think of anything in between generic style kings and cut falcons rate wise. miht have to get some 4.5kg/mm AJPS ones.

AmyC
29th January 2007, 06:09 PM
Allready have the coilovers.
I need to get another set of springs though, 8kg springs a just too stiff for what i want.

Im willing to swap my Eibach 8kg springs for something a little softer.
