A bit of History on my car....

Picked up a bog standard ADM Sprinter fairly cheaply, mainly because it was riddled with rust. With the help of some great mates, we stripped it bare and managed to get rid of most of it. Here are a few pics of the worst spots;

(notice the dash and all the way along the top of the windscreen)

While it was getting cleaned up i managed to purchase a 4AGE straight out of a JDM Sprinter along with the JDM front struts. The engine transplant and strut swap went very smooth, straight in, straight out. Although, had an intermittent fault with the wiring that caused some dramas.

Here's what she looked like after we finished;

Stayed this way until i got around to saving up enough to pay for a paint job. I was just looking to get the patches painted, but managed to get the whole outside redone for a little bit more.

Just after it got repainted;

Decided to buy a second set of rims so that i can have one set for the track and one for the street. Got a set of 15" Superlights with 205/50/15 Falkens on the front and 205/50/15 Barum on the rear.
And here it is with it's new wheels;

Still have a few things to repair on the front and there are a few spots of rust returning that will need more attention. Not sure what i'm going to do next, maybe clean up the interior a bit. Have to save up for a disc to disc lsd diff, but that won't be for a while yet.

Let me know what you think, suggestions, etc. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

I'm pretty sure it happend after. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/sad.gif The reason it got a whole respray was due to having a number of small areas which had been cleaned up due to rust.

Yeah i remember the Kermit KE looked sweet. The airbox came with the 16V that came out of a Jap Spec, slotted in nicely.

Top work with the rust repair http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif
How you go about fixing the effected area above the windscreen?

Thanks Stain.

We took out the windscreen and sanded back the effected area. I think it was mostly surface rust, i don't remember welding that part. May have been a small amount of bog used though.
