OK update time.
Since last post i have bought some fixed back bucket seats and harnesses for the front. Purchased and fitted a disk brake rear end with 2way. My 4AGE is at the engine rebuilders getting all machined for rebuild. Fitted and wired up my twin fuel pumps and fuel lines. Front struts getting converted to coilovers (should see them in a few weeks). Got my adjustable 4 links and penard rod on there way. Bought some very tasty rims. Flared Guards and painted my car Ford Phantom Purple(Again, already had car painted then bought my tasty rims). thats about it atm. I dont have a pic of the car as it is atm. but i do have one from the other day when the drivers door had to be repaired.
Rims on but guards not flared.

Wow its been a while. Well there really isn't much progress happening hey due to a big fuck up of mine that has put me in some debt. Well i kinda thought is was a good idea to take the old ladies car fro a spin while i was intoxicated. yea moral of the story is don't DRINK AND DRIVE KIDDIES!! On a lighter note, i got the engine in and running, still need to do the exhaust tho. so yeah heres a few pics for ya.
Sorry for the big pics

Ok as per request im goin to repost the guard flaring pics. so here they are.
before work began
[attachment=20442:12052007_003_.jpg]
Grinding all the crap off the guard
[attachment=20443:12052007_013_.jpg]
To get a good amount of flare without creasing the guard we had to cut the shit out of it then weld in pieces to strengthen it again.
[attachment=20444:12052007_014_.jpg]
Rear guard before
[attachment=20445:13052007.jpg]
that is how they looked after the flaring. note that we didn't have to weld or cut anything in the rear. all we did was stretch the metal out with a ball pien hammer.
[attachment=20446:13052007_001_.jpg]
smoothing up the rear guards
[attachment=20447:13052007_003_.jpg]
bare metal glory. good from far but far from good.
[attachment=20448:13052007_004_.jpg]
ready for paint

yea it looks so much better now. real clean. well i finally went to court for my drink driving. yes its been 4 months since it happened and i only just now have been to court. well i wont be driving for the next 10 months so i guess its time to pull my finger out and get her on the track. i had to pull my diff apart due to the fact its making bad noises and such. also gonna make some track pipes since it will be a while since i can drive on the road again. thought i might post some clearer pics from a real camera and not a crappy phone camera. let me know what you all think.
