having a big shed is good for working on cars but being a panelbeater and working at a crash repairer is much more goodr i rekon ill go overboard it will be like ahsow car.

looks good in photos looks better in the flesh. the pearl we put on, red and blue, changes the colour from a strong dark purple to a dark blue in the sun!!!

not painting the inside cos im putting a full interior in it.
the colour is ford usa dark purple with xtra dark violet
we used blue and purple pearl by dupont. its custom,
didnt expect it to come out so nice but just turned out sweet!

yea mine is Ford Phantom purple. still needs tobe buffed. so no real good pics yet. has a mad metalic pearl as well.

yeah i did this one at work in the booth! You do not need a booth to spray 2 pak weeve painted 5 cars in my shed in 2pak the only problem is that its against the law!

Dont you have dramas with shit settling on the paint?
I would have thought this would be a problem given the longer time required for the paint to dry....?

yepp wats the go with this 2-pak? easy to do? im gonna be spraying my ke70 starting next week on the preperation, i have decided on colour but have no idea weather to go acrylic/2 pak or whatever else there is, any tips?
ps: car looks awesome!!!!

2 pack is the best stuf to spray with.. no buffing needed! the clear (used only on metallics) is high gloss straight off the gun.. same with 2K solids..
with solid colours like red/black/blue/green/white etc.. any plain colour (no mettalic) is just the paint.. no clear etc needed.. and comes off the gun glossy.. unlike acrylic which you need to buff the crap out of to get shiny..

yea i had a crack at painting my car aswell.. didnt turn out that good but i sprayed it white so my inperfections didnt show as much.. i now understand the importance of the preparation that goes into it before spraying lol
give it a go! u'll learn what to do and what not to do next time! haha

well its a car again, complete besides front and rear bar which will be coming very soon.

SO the rego has run out and now it is time for the next upgrade TURBO so microtec is on order im running a 4age n/a engine rebuilt with gze pistons toyota rings and bearings trd headgasket and my old gze smallport head. Then T28 non roller turbo Top mount cooler cos i dont want to cut holes in the car, t3 bigport smallport adaptor. What do u think the power figure will be? running 8 psi? do you think it will last?

Wont running a top mount cooler make you cut holes in the bonnet? I have spare band new 4AGZE - AE92 LEVEL top mount intercooler if your interested.
