For sale: Complete Set of Gold Mesh 15x6 +20 Rims

Condition: Need a polish, some surface rust from the wheel nuts and minor gutter rash.

Price: $350 No longer for sale

Extra Info: Imported from Japan, never fitted to car, selling because I bought without first understanding offsets...
Although these aren't the best 86 offsets, they won't hit the struts and will also stick out about 2cm further than the stocko wheels.
And it's nothing some bolt on spacers won't fix!

Contact Details: Post here, PM me, Ring/TXT 0421245176 or email stainmaker(at)gmail.com

Location: Atherton QLD 4883, 45min west of Cairns

Delivery: You can organise it, I can organise it. Hell, you can even come and pick em up! :)
I have boxes for all 4 rims which measure up at 44x44x30 and 9kg each. About $30 a box anywhere around Australia.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but these would hit struts yeah? I'm guessing you bought them for an AE86 and are sellign them because they don't fit correctly?

the stock wheels are +27 so i dont think these would hit the struts, they'd just sit in a bit

mmm true. Not a bad point. But stock wheels aren't 6inches wide.
Just get spacers dude?

i had 6.5 15" of a silvia (guessing +20) and were running 195's and they were fine no wories but havent put em in since i got coilovers put in, but were fine with both stock and king springs

+20 on a 6 inch rim won't hit.

are they SSR's? I might be interested if I can get them to brisbane for a decent price

They don't hit the struts, they just sit in a fair way.
Yes running spacers would correct it, but I've got more rims and don't need them.
tipper86: No they arent SSRs, just a no-name gold mesh.

how can alloy get that much rust?

Stain

04ae86: no thanks. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif
driftke70: I'd say its more from the wheel nuts, it's not as bad as it seems in the photos, just surface buildup.

is is just buld up of wheelnut rust an alloy does corrode and gives rust somthing to grip onto

why not give them quick clean, get that rust off, would make them look more attractive to potential buyers...

bet you will learn next time with offsets http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif

Might be wrong here but I'm pretty sure these are Brigdestone wheels as indicated by the small old school "BS" symbol in the last photo...

Stain

I'm pretty much at rock bottom now. As its what I paid for em...
I'm in no rush to sell them, so if I don't get my money back I'll keep em.

Now that I've found a use for these rims and pulled the sale... I'm just gonna show what you all missed out on. :P

Cost $30 a corner to sandblast and repaint. Put new valves and tyres on em and they fit nicely inside standard guards. Don't look off at all.

Damn... should have motivated myself and come up and buy them... forgot completely.
Thats exactly what I planned to do with them, to go onto a white KE70. I'm in cairns but have a property at the top of the gillies so I'm up your way fairly often.... may I ask where you got them blasted and painted?
