ran into some of the nicest cops ever over the weekend

me age 16 riding my uninsured unregisterd moto bike also un licensd on the road they came up behibnd me i thought "SHIT"
i got off had a chat to em nice guys they were told me that i had just comitted 4 offences and fines of over $4k would apply if they fined me and i would also goto court and even get a disqualyfication to hold a licence http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/ohmy.gif http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/sad.gif

but all in all i was nice admited that i shouldnt of done what i was doing and got away with a warning shaked there hands and bid them farewell http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

last cop i was with i greated him nicely and then he insults me and calls me a shoplifter and a terroist http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wtf.gif i even got searched for weapons http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/rant.gif that guy was a total fuckhead http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/dry.gif

I can second this, got pulled up saturday night for a rbt.. had a tail light out, the coppa was like, u got a tail light out mate. i was like oh really? (already knew the last cop who pulled me up told me http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif) but yeah he was all nice about it, and so was the last one who pulled me up.. if i didnt have that tail light out i probs wouldent of been pulled up, for some reason when the cops see my car they look in the other direction. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif b4 that i went almost 10 months without being pulled up, yet my mate got pulled up the other night in his soarer, they went over it with a fine tooth comb and did him for shit tyres 75 bux and 1 point.. the moral to this story.. drive an AE86 and not a soarer. but yes there are some good cops out there. but for every good one there is about 6 wankers

yea i like gettin the nice cops.

about a 1 1/2 years ago i got spoted doin a bit of a smoke show in my civic. they caught up to me down the road. asked me if i had been burning any rubber 2night. "um no" i replied. "so that wasnt u we just saw doin a big smoky?" they said. "nope wasnt me" they laughed at me, breath tested me and sent me on my way. lol i couldnt help but laugh at what just happened.

ive been pulled up several times for different things..

ive only seen the cops reflect how you act to them, ive always been nice so ive never had a cop be agressive to me.
Having said that you hear some storys sometimes about cops being

dickheads, tho i guess my point is you dont have to be a dickhead to be a cop. And vice versa

Yea seen a few really nice ones few total assholes.... but I find most are in between kinda. Not totally rude or on a powertrip but not particularly pleasant either.
And the "treat them nicely and they'll treat u nicely" doesnt always apply. I always try to be polite to everybody unless they give me a reason not to be. And I have had cops on a few occassions be smartasses and total assholes without provokation.
Such is life...

I agree with that. Once my brother and friend were drinking in a carpark, the cops saw them and came over and wrote out a warning. My brother had this hat he used to write things on like "golfing hat", "mission hat", "playing computer hat" etc. one of the cops asks for a look and wrote "getting busted by the cops hat". It was pretty funny.

ive had my fair share of run ins with johnny lawtalker... and wha i have observed is the younger and/or newer cop seem all to have a chip on their shoulder and are out to prove them selves...

case in point, my dad was hassled a while ago for doing the right thing and catching the bus home after have a couple of drinks at the local... anyway there happened to be some younger guys at the bus stop as well, maybe 14-15ish... anyway couple of beer bottles under the shelter seat, as there always is, cops rock up and were hassling people down the street, come up to the bus stop, shine torches on the young guys tell that they have been drinking, explain to the cops that they were there when they got there, cops tell tem to put it the bin, so them being confused and a bit wary do as they are told... cops grab the bottles off them say that they have been drinking and now that there finger prints are on the bottle they will be charged... my father steps in and tell the cops that he is witness to the incedent and get the same treatment as the kids, except he is older and wiser, and tells the cops to get the torch out of his face and promptly takes their name and badge number and reports them to the local copshop... and just by chance his mate is acting senior officer on duty and is told that the two officers he had a run in with had many complaints against them but none from a reputable person (ie over 25...)

Haha interesting... my experience seems to be the opposite, the freshies are the nice guys and the veterans r the mean ones.

The two times I've been pulled over for no reason where both the same old cop doing his "you're a young punk in a loud car so I'm gonna bust you" routine.

Everytime I've been being stupid the cops have been nice, go figure

Yeah, when i got pulled over for speeding they accused me of doing burnouts (which my corona is all but incapable of), and assumed i have had many on the spot fines before (which is untrue, im a good boy. ish)

I was fairly nice to these cops until i realised that one of them was just being a bastard regardless, so just got all wry and sarcastic. and it was a young bloke, too. just goes to show that younger cops have that chip on their shoulder and have something to prove.

im 6teen and me and my mates were racing our pocket bikes around the back of some shop which i wont mention, and n y way we were fangin it around this track when me and my mate hooked round one of the corners and saw some lights over our backs, so we looked again and saw the red and blue, both of us loked ahead(were there were massive tress and shit and were both thinking we could make it there and hide, but being the good lads we are we both stopped and said to each other, " we're in shit now aren't we" then these young cops got out of the car and one was a chick and she goes " u guys are in some shit aren't ya" and they said that we were lucky that it was them coz they just took our details and gave us a verbal warning and told us what we would have gotten done for.

do u believe that u can get done for unregistered, uninsured, unlicensed(moto license), noise polution, and it didnt help that we werent wearing helmets. but all that said, these little suckers cant be registered, sucks, but they were the good cops

holy shit ive been here nearly 5 hrs i havnt a life lol........

well back on topic i have no use for police there worthless pussy ass fags and the younger one are disgruntle rich kid Nerds who are push overs.

did you know you have to pay to become a freakn police officer and they dont even give you free accomadation when your down training...

well anyways back on topic again and one of the reasons i dislike the police is this.........

a couple of years back my Sister was going out with this fuck head well anyways she bought herself a GtiR well anyways like 1 month later they broke up and he took her car ...she contacted the police and they said they couldnt do anythink because they where in a defacto relationship or someshit like that and he had a right to own that car.....

its Bullshit

PS can some fix my grammar lol

first time ever pulled over today!

this was in my 626. didnt slow down for this perfect 90 degree corner, ass starts to slide out. just my luck there was a cop car around the corner.... not wanting to wait it out and see if they pull me over i park 30m up the street. short time after the copper comes to my window, he isnt being a prick what so ever, he was very courteous and polite.

cop: good afternoon
me: hi
cop: im not going to book u because u didnt make us chase after you

i just sat there and said nothing so i wouldnt make the situation worse

cop checks licence, his mother lived in the same street as i do we talked about the road works being done to the train line and how much of a pain it was etc. he also remembered my party so i told him about the disgruntled neighbour that walked into my house, turned off the music and walked out

very nice cop, luckily i didnt get fucked sideways for my spirited driving
