Andy's $300 dollar beast

Here's my new runabout car, i picked it up from the damaged vehicle auctions for a bargain price of $325. I was stolen and then recovered, so it came with a very bent set of front suspension, and no keys.

A trip to u pull it later saw a new strut fitted, along with a steering and control arms, and another rack end. The wheels still had some wak camber... bout 3 degrees positive on the driver's side http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/blink.gif and this was when we realised it had a bent front chassis rail. THis was soon fixed with a couple of chains, a hoist and a big turnbuckle. The front end is now 5mm off being straight http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I also fitted a tacho dash, and a set of quad headlights for a more Jdmness. I also cut the springs, and stuck the wheels off my 86 on it.

What lights are they? They seem smaller than TA22's. Did they just plug in or did it take some work?

They are lights off a really old toyota crown... not sure of the model. I do know that they are the same as the TA22 lights, but the backing plates are a better shape for making brackets.
Made up some custom brackets for the lights out of sheet aluminium, but they move a bit, so i think i'll adjust my design slightly. I'd like to make some trims for them... but that seems too much like work http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

Thinking of making up kits to sell once i get the design right, but not sure if i'd sell many, as they aren't perfect.

man if u want a little bit of easy power onto theese things 4 a cheap price....throw a 3kc head on it and it will give a little bit higher compression, we picked up a ke30 4 50 bux that had a 4k in it and when we put the 3k head on it, it made a huge improvement

hey mate, what size and offset were those xr4's i have some and are 15 x 7 with +11 offset, wil i need to completely roll my guards or just lip them which i already have im hoping that they will fit straight on

The XR4's are 15x8's with -4 offset.... they should fit in fine.
