AE71 Frontend swap

I have a late model KE70 (the ones with the AE71 slant front) and i'd like to swap front ends with a KE70 flat front, all my panels are clean and straight, silver in colour and with lights lights and indicators working.

its not that simple. the rad support and beaver panel is differant.

it all fits tho..... all ya need is lights, guards and bonnet. but the rad support doesnt have as many holes to keep the headlights in so you probly should fit it.

Yeah, I read the tech art on the swap, not much delail, but i get the drift http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif of the the story.

You see, my car is a KE70 but it the late model with the slant front (AE71) on it, So the conversion sould be pretty easy.

As for the rad support I'm sure you could make up some new brakets to mount the lights to. If I could make up some brakets to put on Wide Body front gaurds on my 180, I'm pretty confident that i could make up these for both me and the person swapping with me if needs be.

speaking of knocking up brackets...i wonder if quad circular lamps would go any good with the slant front? it might look dorky cos of how the bonnet juts up around the housing of the slanty lights.... if you havnt seen the conversion i mean, they look the shiznit i reckon. quad circles 4tw.

but yeh its true man every1 prefers the square front. probably cos the later ones... ugly.

haha yepp i have quad circle ones from a corona on my slanty front at the moment, looks dodgy as, but tomorw im getting old style guards/bonnet etc, hopefully it all fits, if all that doesnt fit properly is the old style lights then i shoudl be good!
