Does the ECU come with sensors? Thanks.

I will post some pics up soon.

-I think the flywheel is 212 but I will check
-The engine is in bits as I was going to get work done on the head and block.

-ECU does not come with the sensors its just the ECU, you get those with the motec sensor and loom pack.

The blacktop quads, do they come with an uncut injector loom, MAP sensor, TPS, temp sensor, manifold? I presume they are used.

the motec will work with your existing sensors just need to set them up.

1st January 2007, 12:53 PM
really depends ben, most of the time u can use the current map/afm/tps/watertemp/rpm etc..just a matter of mating the looms up etc

although early 4a's dont have knock sensors, and im not sure if the motec has to work with them of not...

GTVAE86
1st January 2007, 05:34 PM
You can buy the sensor kits for them or just certain sensors that you may not have from motec. I was going to purchase the lot (Loom and sensors) that way everything will be good.

But it will be the new owners choice on which way they will go by installing the motec.

Yeah I know. I want to build the engine, but with renovating another house and starting a business its just not possible. I was going to keep it and do it when I have the time, but its just being wasted then, and may as well go to people who would use the parts sooner.

the big port that is in parts, has any work been done to the head and block? or you was just going to

what sort of condition was it? in need of a rebuild anyway?

GTVAE86
2nd January 2007, 12:27 PM
No work was done to it, the oil pump was reconditioned and I was in the process in organising someone to do the head and block, plus get crank and rods balanced. But not any more as I dont have the time to do it.

Its all in very good condition, I got rid of the cams for it as I was going to use the ones for sale above, they are much nicer and sexier. Plus I wouldn't it to be too hard to find a pair.

I dont understand why no one is interested in these parts? This is some good shit here for sale, and I don't think the prices are bad.
Or no one wants to build tough N/A motors.

If there is interest in all the parts (or at least the majority) for the engine I may part it out.

Speaking for myself, the shit is mad, i'd love to own it all and build a tough NA 4A, unfortunately I have little money and want power and can achieve this by banging a turbo on the side of my 4A.

Gluck with sale tho. Any NA head should buy this gear!

Bump.

I dropped the price on the MOTEC again. Now it is $1000 dollars including delivery, check first post for details
on all the stuff that is for sale. Come on that is a good price for a Motec, especially when they are selling for
nearly just under $2000 brand new.

I don't want to sound desperate, but I need the money.

Plus the NAMS handling gear is back up for sale.

i'm interested in the M4, but for not quite a grand

How old is the Motec. Have you had it from new and is it a M4 clubman or the M4 Pro. Has it had any optional upgrades or is it in standard form. Sorry for all the questions but I am interested.

Cheers
