My project KE70....

Started off with this bought with a factory fresh 25k from a one family owner, lovely well kept! :)
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127906.jpg

Plan is to fit a 4age in ITB and VEMS along with some shit hot suspension and some fat rims! (the jeist of it! :D)

Still needed a little bit of work here and there for me to be happy with it as I like things perfect as they bug me otherwise! Plus it all has to come off as I am rebuilding the car using the complete running gear from a AE86. So I though 'let make a proper go of it!'.

Anyway, started by stripping the car of all it's running gear to make sure that there where no hidden suprises and the car was great, just a little surface rust here and there but I wanted to be sure so striped the lot back to metal and treated to complete underneath to a splash of red oxide and new sealent.

http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127907.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127908.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127909.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127910.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127911.jpg

After that, I then masked the rest of the car off and applied a few decent coats of Stone Chip protective paint on the complete underside of the car. This will help to ward of any more rust and keep it all fresh under there. I was planning to paint the underside along with the rest of the car white but thought that

a. can't be bother to repaint the car another colour as it's nice already
be. a white underside would soon look messy.

So with that in mind I just will leave it black! :) this is the end result...
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127912.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127913.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127914.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127915.jpg

After that I spent yester day in the wind ad rain taking the fuel tank and rear axel of the donner ae86 to go onto the KE. Was a right pain! :(

Once removed, I took the axel apart (which already had what looked like new bushes) and removed the link bars. I burnt out the bushes and refitted a new set of poly bushes. these where very simple to fit.
Also fitted an adjustable panard rod and the axel already has a 2 way diff fitted.
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127916.jpg

Then I re fitted the rear axel onto the ke70 but replaced the shocks with a fresh set of TRD Blue 8 way adj shocks also has a 2way TRD diff - unknown ratios though! :)
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127917.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127918.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127919.jpg

I fitted the same springs off the ae86 but I wanted the car a lot lower so these will be choped down a coil or 3 to give me the ride height I am after.
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127920.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127921.jpg
Needs to be atleast near the other end of the Coke cap! so another inch/1.5inch :)

these are 14x8j with approx -10 offset. They stick out but I have a flreing tool the bring the arches out and will probly run a 5mm spacer to butch it out a little.

Next job it to prep the engine bay for primer and paint and also get the fuel tank welded as it looks to have a little bodge in Japan as there is a small hole in it, and then I can fit that to. and sort out the brake lines and handbrake too.
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127922.jpg

so thats the back end sorted! Hooray!! :D :D More to follow this week! :)

Just so everyone knows, the images that are blurry are off my camera phone (forgot camera) but the black stone chip paint is very nice and smooth but with a dry sndpaper like finish. Will keep the rust at bay! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Also, the arches will be getting rolled and the front end will soon be replaced with these lights....
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/127924.jpg

and a beter idea of the lowness I am after! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif and meesing around before the axel went on!

Cheers for the comment Bustin_86.

here in the UK you have to take the time out to do the underside like I have as we have wet SALT!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/sad.gif gritted roads in the winter etc and not a great lot of sunshine so with its being so tidy I wanted to keep it that way as we all know kids, 'dont get salt on your car, it makes it rust'!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Well, didnt do much this weekend.

My girlfriend was home from Uni in the week, and went mouantain biking all Sunday so....

But I did scotch all the engine bay ready for a lick of primer and test fitted the new headlights aswell to make sure I dont need to make any alterations to the front panel.

Need to get a spot weld removing drill bit to as I am having no battery in the engine bay and a few brackets are not needed any more (like the one for the carb cable etc) so will dill them out to tidy the bay nicer! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Fit of the lights was not to bad but they could be better. Defo not a straight bolt on though if you wanted them perfect. Do have a different Jap spec front panel with the cut out for the lights but it was supposed to be for a KE70 but i suspect its from a wider TE71.

few pics....

yeah a guy i was told i'd need the right guards if i wanted to run the Quad front, thought he was just trying to Grift me!!! obviously not http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

prolly won't notice it when its all together. you could always use the TE71 panel to trace the sections that need to be cut out onto the KE70 panel, just a thought, at least it wouldn't be a waste then..

ummm i'm a bit ghetto though, i can live with panel gaps and cut panels http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

your car looks to nice to not be done properly...

Bustin_86
30th January 2007, 06:52 PM
If you are worried about it dude, just weld in a bit of metal and grind it until it sits flush... wouldn't be hard at all. I concur with Gilly though, your car is to nice to ghetto-ify... its little touches like get everything to fit right that pay off in the long run http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

for now thouh its cool as it wont be sprayed untill after summer.

Can I ask for advice though?? I am unsure on how to roll the arches. I have a special arch rolling tool but do I fold back the lip on the arch and theen roll and i want extreme flare to!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

OMG that KE is insane, just watched the vid can't believe they got in the back and just sat inbetween the cage to go for some "hot laps" http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif funny shit indeed...

i just assumed it was the vids of Slydars old one http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif they were taken down anyway. were sweet little vids.

guard flaring is ghey, if you want massive flare you'll have to fold the lip out from underneath so you can use it to extend the guard profile.

you will need bog and shit its ghey but its what we do........

are there any threads re doig the arches like that??

I was just gonna roll the arch lip flat and then roll it out good style but bringing the arch lip forwards seem hard work!

Im running 8j all round so whats the deal like??

Will they fit?? Do you know of any other ke70 with that width??

sounds like just a roll is in order not so much a flare job. i spose the difference there is you don't try to extend the guard lip you just change the profile to clear the rim

i know of a yellow one running 8.5's with neg offset rims and his fit wth unknown guard mods, pretty sure it wasn't extreme though. it all depends on ride height really

IMO don't pull the lip out, i thought you wanted extreme flarage http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif thats why i suggested it. you can just bash it up into the guards then use your roller to pump the guards out. if you have access to a roller i would use it. i'm looking to buy one for this very reason, all the results i have seen have been very good. it would be super handy for the back too as they are a prick to roll and/or bash out with just a hammer.

check these out

http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forum/in...&hl=flaring (http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forum/index.php?showtopic=4837&hl=flaring)

this guard has had the lip pulled out, with bog and paint it would look the goods and free up a fair bit of space. prolly be weaker though as the end of the guard would be quite thin, whereas the folded under option means the guard is still quite strong

[attachment=11459:attachment]

this one same car different side, appears to have the lip foded under yet it has been beaten out to follow the guard contour thus freeing up some space

Ok, progress has been slow for the past 2 weeks and has set me back a bit but we are getting somewhere now! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

Got some new brake and clutch lines.
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/130489.jpg

Anyway, had to make the new holes for the Clutch Master Cylinder as the original engine uses a CABLE operated clutch but with the 4age I am using a T50 which is Hydrolic operated.

So, as the ae86 pedal box is NOT a direct fit, I got hold of a nice AE70 pedal box as these are a direct swap for the KE70 item.

Removing the old one is a pain in the arse and making sure the new holes are in the right place is a shit job too, esp whan your trying to be neat! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/130491.jpg

new pedal box from AE70 - note added space for clucth M/S.
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/130492.jpg

Anyway, after measuring up the holes, I cut them out with a drill.
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/130493.jpg

While I was at it I got rid of the original bracket for the cable of the clutch as its bo longer needed and makes the engine bay look cleaner. Also, I drilled out the spot welds for the battery tray as thats going in the boot.

So a little filler and sanding later its ready to primer!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

so this ....
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/130495.jpg

turns to this......

http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/130498.jpg

Now I need to choose a colour.

Who votes keeping it brown?? Or a dark gunmetal grey??

Gilly
17th February 2007, 08:35 PM
BROWN

also i think i told you, but when that pedal box was powder coated the holes for the brake and clutch pedal weren't taped over so the pedal pivot bush and tube won't fit. needs to be filed out a little (just the powder coating not the actual holes!!)

looking good, keep up the good work

ive always liked the brown color on the ke's... not sure why, its a horrible color, but just looks so damn cool on them

Maybe redo it in that stock color, however put a twist on it, maybe a white pearl under neath or something. So looks like the stock color till your up close.. just depends how much your spending on the paint

but until after summer, the painting is over now (as after sumer I am gonna blast the whole car in brown again), and the only things I will be painting are easy stuff like X-member and shit just in black to tidy them up, nothing fancy though.

Im glad I kept the brown though. The only reason I was thinking another colour is because I really wanted to change the brwon colour to white/silver or a champagne colour in the future but like above, paintng is too much hard work with all the prep and stuff, so this KE is staying brown for good!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Anyway, didnt get loads done as I was helping mates with there cars as there all going to Germany and the Nuringburg Ring in 4 weeks so some of there cars are far from finished!!....

I did get a few engine bay parts ZINC plated as I am a bit of an engine bay 'WHORE' and though while I have it all out, I might aswell do a good job!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Well I just picked up a few more parts from the zinc plater's and also had the cylinder head reconed with new valve stem oil seals, re grind valves and a skim as when I took the head apart it looked like it needed it!!

also just got back from MR Toyota who bum rapped me for £40 for 10 new head bolts and alo bought a full engine gasket set to refresh all the gaskets on the 4age.

Also had to take all the brake servo and new ae70 pedal ox BACK OUT as the captive bolts that hold the steering coloum in were turning and couldnt get them to tighten up proper so that was a pain in the arse.

I have made copper brake lines, shotblasted and painted x member and ARB supports etc, fitted new rubber boots to steering rack and rebuilt my 4age to be dropped in this week.

Its just a std build up as all the modifications to the engine are bolt on type as money needs to be spent elsewhere for the car to get done.

I also bought ANOTHER KE70 this weekend too, for spares and repairs type shit, plus the odd clip/bracket as I seem to of misplaced some!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

anyway a few pics.

Will hav more by the end of the week..

had the rocker covers blasted too and they are painted gold, and its actually all built up now, as i was waiting for a few things to add on.

ok, another update.

I hoped to have the sucker on all fours by now, and with as much stuff as poss bolted on the car. Ssill have to put the brakes/hubs on my new struts bolted on the car aswell as the ARB and TCA. Then I can get it rolled out of my shed and have a large clean up, as its very tight for space and its hard to shit stuff with a car in the way, in fear of damage! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

Plus, to top it off, I went out riding my MTB on Wed, and was 'hitting up' some local lumps and crashed and landed on my back from about 10ft, no my back is sore and wont let me get down and dirty like I want with the car, so a complete weekend seen the below results! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

But, you can see, that now the front end is back on the car and thats a good thing. I cleaned up the std loom aswell, and fixed that back into the car.

I also had to put on the 14x7 +1 SSR MESH (running 185/50/14) on the fronts as the 8j wouldnt allow me to bolt the wings on correctly - will sort this out when I roll them back.

its far and beyond my KE....

i'd buy the works if you didn't live like 4 million miles away.

also i see your sneaky way of getting the JDM quads to fit without using the JDM lower beaver panel, very crafty, you get points for that.

why have i never seen this thread before!!!

Cheers lads.

yeah, Gilly, I have a front panel in white with the raised parts in the middle for the quad lights from Japan but when it got here its about an inch too wide so guess its from a TE71 or something?? Anyway, it fits and cause its so low you have to get down to notice it and only people who know would spot it anyway!! Saves getting the brown paint out again!

I love the way its turned out and its mad as I never was gonna do it like this but its just turned out great! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

RE the arches, they are all still std at the moment and wll stay like that for a bit as my main focus is getting the car running and road legal, set up and everything, then worry about the wider rims later on, that way I can get it done sooner and the important things done first!! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

this is what they were like with the 8j on, and this is with full neg camber and NRCA but the bottom of the wings near the sill wouldnt quite reach the bolt holes to bolt up ad the tyre was rubbing the arch.

The crank sensor is because I have Gone DIS and aftermarket ECU and thats how it read instead of the Dizzy.

I plan to make this the greatest KE70 ever, had a go rolling a rear arch last night and it was as tough as I thought! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

And alos, I bout another KE on ebay too! its a KE72V estate, 40k on the clock, one owner and 1300 4k action. Plan to keep it as is but with a bad ass drop and wide rims and maybe a fron end change as its got an AE70 style front end on it.

Anyway, all th brakes have been bleed, and I have decided to fit new vented discs and Mintex 1144 pads upfront too.

Also, ftted braided blake lines, mad a bracket for the fues box, modifiyed the throttle like braket (too much flex), fitted all the fuel lines and a new fuel filter, and also re done all the copper brakes lines as they didint look good enough! http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

Just left to do now is the wiring and add the radiator, but need to buy a battery and a battery box, (battery in boot) and it should be plainn sailing from there! ;D

Not gonna roll the guards until after its all running and on the road and just run it on a set of 14x7 instead of the 14x8 for now.

UPDATE! :D

Ok, well, things have been slow at camp Tetsujin. With little money coming in for the project and me buying that KE70 Estate things had to slow down before I resorted to the old credit cards! hahaha!! :D

I have sorted everything out that needs doing pretty much bar adding in the VEMS ECU.

I have bleed all the brakes, and clutch, and routed all the fuel lines for the in and return.

Also, I have fitted new discs and Mintex 1144 pads up front aswell as rebuilding the calipers.

after that it's has really setting up the wiring for the electrics of the car along with a battery in the boot.

I bought a Redtop 25 race battery, as it was small, compact and light but did cost me £100! :( But it's the size that matters! :D

please not, that I am still to clamp the battery down in this pic.

http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/151694.jpg

I also bought some thick battery cable and cable trunking to protect it and run it to the boot. The carpet will be covering it and it's secured down with P - Clips.

http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/151695.jpg

so with that in and ready, it was time to tackle this....

http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/151696.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/151697.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/151698.jpg

I bought a lot of new cable to extend to the alternator as the std KE70 engine had it over on the pass side but the 4age oot of a ae86 has it on the driver side and I wanted to make it all neat.

Extended wires to the alternator and added power cables from the starter motor.

need to get an Auto electrican out though as there is a bundle of wirs I just don't undertand so best get it done right! :D

so then, it was time to crank her over and make sure all the lights, wipers and stuff works still.

it's ALIVE!!! :D
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/151699.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/151700.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/151701.jpg

everything worked a treat except for the wiper motor thats bust and the oil pressure switch on the engine, I replaced the Oil press switch and it then showed up on the dash so all cool, but need to swap the wiper motor with a spare I have.

Roll on the rest of the wiring for the ECU, then it's justt a case of fitting the exhaust, getting it road legal, and setting up the suspension! :D

Adam :)

Actually guys is a Mitsubishi Sapporo :)

OK UPDATE TIME! :D

Well, I havent touched the car since pretty much the last time I ever posted on this thread! :D :(

But things have got me down and I really lost all efforts towards making it run when I couldnt get it to start.

Now though, I have run into another problem, The car still wont start but I dont have the funds to get it running (taking it somewhere that knows the ECU I am using) so I have sold it and sellilling the iTB's.

I know its a step backwards but I really dont care and want to get the car on the road and actually driving it! :D

So I am putting all the TVIS back on the engine, and putting in a std JDM large port wiring loom and ECU.

So any help with that will be needed as I am CRAP when it comes to any wires and cars! hahahaha :D

Also, I have sold the 14x8 SSR Mesh rims and purchased another pair to match the 14x8j Work Equip Excels that are on the front. They are going on the rear now and the new ones are 14x7 and going on the front.

Then I am gonna get a Lip spoiler of Gilly and also a oil cooler and then thats it! Its ready to rock and roll on the street! :D

Let me know you thoughts. :)

Hey Hilton,

the quad set cost me approx £400 English pounds.

They were OER 45mm ITB's and I got them off a mate here who got them used from yahoo Japan Auctions. :)

And yeah, I hope to get it running soon and get skidding! :D

tetsujin
6th November 2007, 08:56 PM
Starni_boy:

I bought a few cans of brake/clutch cleaner. Its like an alcahol and it evaportaes but breaks up the dirt. I find this is a good way to clean things when you plan on painting them.

Normally I would just use and engine degreaser but like I said (and you can probably see) I painted the intake and masked off areas I didnt wana spray.

On the TVIS part, I masked off as much as I could (I only wanted the sides painted) as the TVIS unit isnt something I liked the look of stripping down! :D

I used silver pain but a Hight Temp paint as its on an engine.

I like to paint my things as close to factory as std, Im not into fancy colours but you can get the paint in lots of colours but silver seemed best to me.

Its a little bit the wrong type of silver but its the only high temp silver I can get and I sprayed all the other engine coponents on the head with it (hence why it all looks so clean.

Thing is, with it being SO cleand its easy to get dirty and chances are it WILL flake off so if you have a tidy looking engine already just try and clean it up without painting IMO as its always gonna stay nicethen. I just did mine as it was a grotty old engine origionaly.

If I ever swap another engine in, I will just degrease and clean up and try and not paint it.

:)

(shit!, that was a long reply to a simple answer! I should of just said PAINT!!! :D)

run the same dimension rims on the front of my rolla with 175's with no probs. I think mine might be -12, cant remember, but anyhoo they should fit, your cars looking great, looking forward to reading when its all successful, the 4age wiring is a little precarious but with a little thought, some good diagrams and some time its not too hard to knock over. Just keep your battery disconnected while you do it, know of a few "noobs" popping ecu's,

Im gonna agree with the 7's lol. It does look better.

On a car that is built this meticulously you need to keep to a certain line to emphasize how clean it is, rather than trying to hide drift damage and rust with wheels that stick out the guards by 5 inches :P I think the 7's help to restore that nice "balanced" style... just my opinion anyway lol.

any Updates (y)[/b]

haha! sort of.

Wel, I was planning on not updating the thread until the car was running and on the road as I have just been too lazy with it for the past 3 months (read, doing nothing with the KE).

but the things I have done are...

- sent the std ae86 loom off to another guy here in the Uk who like KE70's and is better than me at wiring and he is making me a pretty much bolt in play loom for the std 4age to work with the KE shit.

- some normal RCA's to replace the NRCA's as I wasnt happy with how far the 8j rims stuck out of the arch so this will tuck them back 25mm each side.

- some Gilly Madhouse lips are winging the way to the UK for my car aswell. they will make me love my car again! :)

- did sme more cleaning of parts and am going to start some more general tidying up of the car also.

- also got some new T3 tension rods too as someone was selling them here cheap so got them! :D

- gonna look at making a rear ARB fit on my KE as here in the Uk they cam WITHOUT ARB's at the rear.

no pics as I will saveanything tasty until the car is complete.

Adam :)

ARB's =

Anti roll bars? The stabalizing bars that reduce body roll.

I have TRD uprated ones but the rear of my KE has no fixing point so I will have to re-enfororce the chassi rail and weld a captive nut to sto it from flexing.

hilton
5th January 2008, 02:13 AM

tetsujin
18th January 2008, 01:26 AM
Hilton : Sorry dude, but unlike Aus, here in the UK KE parts are harder to get as we suffer from rust, and I honly have 1 set of spare bumpers for me and the rear one is bent up bad but thats all I can get.

You can find new, but there like expensive and they dont make em anymore either. :(

Well, I havent done loads but I like to just update! :D

had the day off yesterday so while I am waiting for my loom to come, I messed with a few things that needed doing.

First off.....

The early KE70 dont share the same top mounts with a KE so this made me unable to fit my AE86 strut brace.

But I decided that I would just zip of the offending hole with a hacksaw and just mount it on 2 points each side. i have seen this done before so though, it would be ok! :D

after a lick of paint and a bit of a file on the edges....

http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/162898.jpg
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/162899.jpg

Also fitted the std Dizzy and Coil pack. Luckly there was alread two perfect holes for me to bolt down the coil.

http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/162900.jpg

Also fitted my 14x7 supra wheels up front to see if they were better for clearence that my 14x8 Equips.... they were!

Supras...

Works...
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/162903.jpg

After fitting the front end back on with the JDM lights, I was never happy with the fit so I decided to take the whole lot back off.

This was to do two things.

1. make it all fit neat and shit

2. Take car of any small scabs etc on the panels to stop any rust ever spreading in the future.

There by no meens bad but we all knowhow these old Toyotas like to rust away before our eyes! :D

finshed! :D
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/162904.jpg

Also fitted the backing plate on the front of the engine behind the cam gears as the new loom will be running behind it! :D

http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/162905.jpg

all I have left to do really is wiring the loom back up when it gets here.

other than that its sorting all the suspension out and getting the right ride hight as currently the sills are 3 inches from the floor!. And I need to roll the arches but these are problems I will sort out when its on the road! :D

cheers
Adam :)

price-wise, I dont think anyone here would want em.

Due to the rarity of them (size wise and that there 4x114.3) they are worth about £300 to me.

Then you gotta add the shipping.... :(

Big tools in hand:

1x house brick wrapped in a towel

1x pair of pliers

1x big frick off hammer

i do own a propper arch roller BUT as my car is gay, the arch roller will no go small enough for my tiy arch wells so it useless for me! :(

Anyway

set about and started off with this....
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/4/8/4/3/163503.jpg

As you can see, it don't fit, and 14x8j -8 are not bolt on for the KE but....

I used pliers to start the flare off in the direction I wanted the flat part of the lip to go. Worked prety good.

looked good but was still not cutting it for clearence. Sure it would of been ok if I mad it a bit higher but once you go this deep, there is no urning back!:D

Adam, mate this thing is inspiration hey, i love it, spewin about the dents from flaring but a bit of bog will come up shmick.

The biggest suggestion i can give when it comes to bog is take about double the time you want to take on it, and only do a little smear at a time. If you put a big smear of bog on itll take ages to sand and will more than likely have bubles in it and it just turnes out fooked.

yeah hope that helps, good luck mate!!

never assume wire colours must be set in stone. its all about the plug. see your tech q thread.
