Just a quick question what's the best way to remove pin stripes and side stripes.

Teddy
30th January 2007, 05:59 PM
Heat gun, paitence, few old rags ! Be warned tho, the paint under the stripes will be alot newer than that of the rest of the car; so it may stand out badly !

the suspension was really good at winton it was heaps more predictble then the stock stuff it had a tiny bit of understeer but i still havent adjusted the caster yet so well see how we go once i have done that.

3 months ago my ke70 got defected so I had to put all the standard suspension back in and get it up to RWC spec. Fortunately this gave me a chance to rebuild my t-18 struts and convert them to a coilover setup which was good. :greenbounce:
[attachment=31210:100_0524.jpg]
As well as doing a coilover conversion I've also decide to have a go at making my dash insert out of carbon fibre I haven't finished it yet but I hope it will turn out good, I'm blocking out the radio so I can put some extra gauges there in the future
[attachment=31211:100_0516.jpg]
thanks to ajps I've finally got some sway bar mount that i can weld onto my t-series I got sick of driving around for 2 months with no sway bar
[attachment=31212:100_0518.jpg]
And I've also got my self a 96kw bigport 4age with loom and ecu I'll get pic's of that later :greenbounce:

Gavin
24th September 2008, 05:47 PM
Hears the 4ag it's an 88kw block and head (7 rib) with a 96 kw loom, ecu and map sensor I think anyway. I can't wait to put this in [attachment=31260:100_0525.jpg]:D
