ae fornts never did it for me, but something about them when they are dumped on their ass. Looks like its going to be a sweet project, i just bought this ke from this dude in townsville, mint as, beige/tan colour, 55000 clicks not one spec of rust, for 500. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/rant.gif

8th February 2007, 09:41 PM
that looks like its in really good condition.

do you have to have your camber tops set all the way to positive camber with the sigma LCA's?

i agree with driftke70. i dont like ae fronts unless they are dumped on there ass

spillman
8th February 2007, 11:30 PM
yeah ive been told to set it all the way positive otherwise it gets to much friction or something im not too sure, im just using custom coilovers on 86 struts with japo brakes with mu secret pads

and yeah i have taken these pics in my garage haha coz it was like 11pm and couldnt see outside

spillman
8th February 2007, 11:31 PM

looks really good mate, look so tuf fon there ass. did you paint the sills or were yours already white? mine are black but are getting painted, it adds to the dumpage effect http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

spillman
22nd February 2007, 02:14 PM
yeah it is pretty low at the back now, im lovin it, looks nice feels stiff and tight, the ssr's are 15 x 6.5 +3 offset, and the sills were already white, i used to have a spirit and they were black but i much prefer the white, makes it look alot better,

cant wait to get some tyres on the xr4's

getting tyres on my xr4's tomorrow, does anyone know who stretches them on or can any tyre place do that, cant wait to get them on im hoping it will look hot, got a ae86 crossmember today and a jdm bigport short motor

breno
23rd February 2007, 08:35 PM
You wont be able to stretch them anyway if they are 15x6.5, as i believe the smallest 15" tyre is a 195/50.

spillman
23rd February 2007, 09:20 PM
they are 15 x 7, does that make any difference

ae71neo
24th February 2007, 10:14 AM
It will most probably sit flush, with no to very minimal stretch.

Does it scrub much on the rear? I've got 15x7 XR4's on the back of mine and it isn't nearly as low yet I scrape with 2 people in the back. Must need Sierra's and whatnot.

ae71neo
3rd March 2007, 09:25 AM
Thats why i pulled my rear seats out, this ain't no transporter lol!

spillman
3rd March 2007, 09:33 AM
yeah, i lipped my rear guards and it scraps a little bit, when there is another person in the front passanger seat it scrubs a bit more, im sure if there were people in the back it would be to much scrubidge to drive it anywhere, it loooks good though,

ok, i have been working on my interior and a have stripped the back, taken out the rear seats and seatbelts and whatever else is there, also have started on removing the sound deadener, what a shit fight that is, haha ive been doing it for 2 hours and only got about 2 thirds of it out and thats just at the back, then tomorrow get some paint onto it and make it nice and shiny looking, then also going to take it to south side imports in kirrawee to get it engineered as a 2 seater, should be cool
