View Full Version : Takumi Chime wiring diagram

For those who have an import or luckily have a chime and want to install it (probably disconnected when complianced as an import?)

Here is what the description from the wiring diagram booklet. Only listed in the LHD version in my wiring diagram book (maybe my book doesn't cover JDM wiring).

Anyway, Chime at 120km/hr is what is listed.

Never ran it in my car since less noises in my 86 the better.

And yes, it will give you 11,000rpm limit and you will inherit takumi powers. [disclaimer]

that chime is fucking annoying. me and a mate drove for hours in his 180 with the chime goin off cos we couldn't get rid of it and no stereo! Thank god its been removed on the mr2!

I fucking hate my chime... Driving back from Coolumn, hung over, sitting 4000rpm the whole way home with my shocks on the hardest setting....That's no too bad.... then Bing Boo, Bing Boo Bing Boo.

I never wanted to kill a Japanese person so bad...

its a chime that goes off when you reach 120km/h, from what i ah ve heard u dont want to know what 1 is lol

I cant stand the chime in my trueno. Fucking goes on at 105km/h.

If it was 120km/h that would be ok. But when the highway is 110 its on constantly...

yeah says "SCREW TAKUMI"

ahhaa nar, makes a ding sing when you reach/go over a certain speed.

Mine has been set to >105km/h. fkn annoying.
