Well everyone knows now that i switched to the *E7* way of life. the 86 was parted out and a lot of parts donated to this project. this car will not be as extreme as the 86. it will i think have a more subtle ride height (mainly to aid in tyre to guard clearance) will be keeping a full interior etc. basically it will be a bit more practical to drive every day whist still having the necessary parts to get involved with the whole drift scene.

Basically your run of the mill KE70, straight with previous rust repairs carried out reasonably, mint blue interior and a slow as fk 4k and 3 seed auto. starts getting pulled down tomorrow for the conversion which starts tuesday. aiming for friday turn key, just need to (as always) finalise some parts.

Tye i demand pics of your car, start a members ride thread or i'll ban you http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

found a few hours today when Tam fell asleep http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif i've pretty much rooted any chance of doing more work today as i woke her up when i started bashing my guards.

but yeah

coilovers, 86 LCA's and steering arms are in
guards off and being flared (before i got told to STFU!!!)
MKII's on the back resting on the guards http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/blink.gif needs 185/60's (and springs, just sitting on stops)

might rip the dash etc out now to start on the pedal box.

i lol'ed so hard http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif today revolved around flared guards, DCNTLY knows what i'm talking about. Mark my guard flaring http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif is the worst cause of automotive abuse there is.goes like this

me: "hey Matt how do you use these dolly things?"

Matt: "dunno man"

Me: "i'll try this way......"

WHACK!! BANG!!! SMACK!!!!

Me: "ooooooh shit"

Matt: "lol"

at the end of it all i'm actually happy with mine, i mean they are so ghetto dimpled and shit but the shape is sweet, flared right down to the front edge for castor clearance (concern for *E7* 's don't have the room like hachi's do)

because your back on the whole adm thing, wanna swap my challengers for your 'champs?[/b]

pics when its done, which is like 2 days i'm sure you'll all live.

spun spanners on this yesterday, looks uber hot now compared to before. needed some space to fit the rims so its using my guards until an alternative set can be found/modded. it's DCNTLY's car off this forum, he has donated his time to help out on the conversion, which is much appreciated!!

it will be finished by then, nearly finished now actually. however won't make it to the track, in the interest of maintaining my current lifestyle i must endeavour to put in some quality time with the other half. she doesn't like conversions. it normally means she cooks every night and doesn't see me for a week ,whic isn't entirely fair.

w00t!! w00t!!

on time for friday turn key

today

cleaned bay and installed AE86 x member
installed engine and box
layed the loom (not wired as yet)
installed T series
tailshaft
front brakes
removed tank (ready for 86 tank, just need to swap some bits over)
installed exhaust

rims on and on the ground, sits a little high at the front but thats with 10kg/mm springs, when i get some 8's it may settle down a little more, not much but a little. also my flared guards cover more rim and tyre tnah i expect, so i'll be running some XT130 LCA's, originally i thought i'd have clearance issues due to rim offset, obviously not http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

rears need a definate bash out, tyres are stretched which keeps the tread under the guards however the sidewall still touches the guards, so there is improvements to be made there.

the exhaust fits PERFECT on the KETO, on the 86 it touched the bumper and melted its own little home. on the 70 it sits perfect in the exhaust opening on a nice little angle, i love it!!

needs short bumpers, chrome ones, wreckers time

that is all

Gilly out..

its funny how your focus can change. on the 86 i would've spent an hour stripping as much shit out as i can. i just spent an hour trying to get the shifter surround modified to suit the sprinter shifter boot so it would all look nice and factory. and i put on clean clothes and wsah my arms and hands and shit before ii work in the car to try to not mark my interior http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif it's pretty mint so its a reasonable thing to do http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

bump stops bent over the spring seats are all that car needs[/b]

i wish i could keep it that low, the height at the rear will have to reflect the front, plus i nee dthe tyre to guard clearance http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif i think i'll start with a 230mm spring and work my way down if necessary.

car is loosely based around this one, it's a bit higher than i like. i think it will be pretty close.

driftke70
1st March 2007, 01:11 PM
i had a brief moment when i got my ke today that i would keep the interior, but i thought about it long and hard, and i just cant live with it, its different for you cause your woman and everything, but i just love stripping cars down to the bare minimum, even if my interior is redicuously mint. Good to see your putting skids before kids.

sorry peeps didn't do shit today. too much other stuff on around the house.

however the loom is sorted, sits all nice and neat. had to do a bit of rewiring so it all could stay clear of the interior fan. all wiring and ECU etc fits in behind the glove box so its super neat.

spent a bit of time mucking around with the 86 shifter boot. as mine is auto the trans tunnel hole is a little different, well a lot different from an 86 one. just redrilled the holes to fit the boot, then modified the plastic shifter surround. looks alright just a slight (20mm) gap at the front of the plastic surround not covered by the boot but meh.

also put the dash back in and installed the 86 speedo cable. it need a few mods to the dash end as the 86 and KE auto cables are no where near the same. all fits now.

Sounds good Gilly,

I have taken the day off work tommorow to get everything swaped over from the AE86 to the KE as the new owner s collecting it on Sat.

Im going for the std/modified look, retaining all the interior and trying to make the 4a install as nea as poss.

Wait untill after the weekend and you can see how clean the engine bay is. I have been detailing all the parts that are going back on the car so it all looks brand new.

I also have a later interior from my older 1982 GL KE70.

all black and grey but its not as tidy as this and I like the cream on brown look.

the later versions also has rear seats that covered over the rear arch and door cards with carpet on the bottom and that covered the tops of the doors.

Dash desighn and stuff remaind the same but later versions also had a centre console too.

Other stuff like redesign of the rear lights, chrome trime under door windows, and actual different back panels too! On my early KE (brown) bumpers are removed from under the car but on the later (my 82 GL ke70) rear bumpers are removed from inside boot area like the ae86!1 :S

I think the later KE must be more like the ae86 as mine needs KP60 adj top mount for the front suspension too!?

(also, our UK actually got the facelift version, I dont see many like this here in Aus but we never got the ae70 though so that must be your facelift version...??

Adam your "update" model sort of looks like it uses our T18 taillights and headlights.

i have a cloth interior in mine but i have seen a lot of the vinyl interiors you mentioned.

i love your interior man, you guys get a nicer centre console, the different door trims with the chrome strip, and i LOVE the way you get the top part of the door exposed revealing the body colour that looks fkn porn. our door trims cover the whole door.

beige interiors are the bomb, blue is cool but brown is gangster as http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

I was thinking gillmiester, it would be an absolute piece of piss to make the door trims look the same as old mates, just pull the top back, theres a little piece of black plastics that extends off the fibre board, undo a couple of staples, take the black plastic off and pull the cloth or vinyl door trim taught and use a staple gun to the fibre board again. It would be a piece of piss, and cause its been on there all its life the paint is fresh under neath.

so true, might look into when i get the p.o.s running.

today was a complete and total non event http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

fried a JDM Ecu and possibly the loom so i'm heaps psyched about that http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif it was the same "2 wire" loom as the one i used in the 86, you just need a start signal and a B+ feed. did that, nothing happened, hmmmm i remembered i replaced a relay as it had a bolt loop on it so i switched to another one and tried that

SNAP, smoke show, an earth lead from the circuit open relay melted itself and the ECU burnt it self out.

not touching it until monday

this one i rooted around with the front section of the guard abit to get clearance as with a bit of castor dialled in the rim fouls the guard. not a big deal with Hachi's as the plastic bumper can be trimmed or spaced out with success, full steel guards howver don't have that much luck!!

instead of just cutting the affected section out, i continued the flare of the guard right down to the end and then lifted out the section there for max clearance. looks alright IMO.

hmmm i don't think iever started a thread about it.

i can give you a brief run down though http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

basically you pull the bumpers off (with steel bumper supports)

then remove the plastic section of the bar from the steel support, you don't use the steel bumper support anymore thus saving probably a combined weight (front and rear) of about 15 kilo's. if you are into the whole weight reduction thing http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

then you trim down the plastic bumper with a jigsaw so it is not protruding as far as they do stock. i took off too much on my beige one (see pic) there is no real measure ment here, just have a crack and see how you go.

when you trim them the ends that meet up with the quarter panels will be the wrong shape. again just trim them with a jigsaw until they fit the recess reasonably.

then you get creative with zipties and mount it http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif same with the indicators.

pic below shows the front and back reasonably.

haha rain is good...sometimes,

noob question, i know what LCA's are but i cant remember what NRCA or RCA stands for

Gilly
7th March 2007, 12:14 PM
yeah i thought that might happen

RCA = Roll centre adjuster

NRCA = negative camer roll centre adjuster

they go in between your strut and steering arm. they do there best to get the strut overall height closer to stock, the stub axle is still higher than stock so the car is still lowered, the extra 35mm (RCA height) is underneath. basically restores the steering and LCA angle back closer to stock. reduces bumpsteer.

the negative camber ones are offset so you still get the RCA effect plus an additional 2* camber and more track.

mine is so ready to start. DCNTLY is rummaging through a shed full of shit to find an AE82 ECU he has spare so ican finally get it running, as i fried my JDM one due to a dodgy relay http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

at the moment it winds over and i get fuel pressure and stuff (i didn't before) ispent a good 1.5 hours the other day trying to figure out why i couldn't get a start signal in to the engine bay. finally realised (well remembered) that the car was originally auto so it needs the signal from the neutral start switch on the shifter before it allows it to start. so basically you just link the start signal wire into the switch to the start wire that continues into the bay, they are on the same connector side by side and easily identified as they are both black and white.

for those of you that don't know the nuetral start switch's function is to ensure the car only starts when in "Park" or "Neutral" thus preventing you from starting the car in Drive which would have the same result as starting a manual car in gear with the clutch engaged (foot off the pedal)

bit of Trivia, which manufacturer has a neutral start switch on the clutch pedal of all their manual models? to start the car you must have your foot on the clutch pedal with the pedal depressed.

but yeah back on track, should get said ECU this evening, then tomorrow bleed brakes and clutch + chop down some stock springs for the back as my new stuff isn't here yet, "adjust" my rear guards, dodgy wheel alignment, then its an all good goer ready for skids hoorah.

also reopening the whole debate as to whether you can bolt hachi seats into 70's. some say you can't some say you can. i just removed my 86 fixed back and it bolted in no worries, all holes lined up and seat sits fine, if anything too low, i can barely see over the dash http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif it does however need a tag cut off the inside rail and the 2 rear holes elongated so i can centralise the seat better. it shitted me in the hachi and is more noticable in this car. the tag fouls the carpet etc and stops you from sitting the rail close to the tunnel, easily half the problem. wasn't that close in the hachi but it had no carpet, in saying that the auto tunnel of a70 definately appears different more room and a different shifter cut out.

now seeing the column and everything is higher in the 70 and my 86 seat being so low the steering wheel sits too high. to change this (not finalised yet) i used some lock spacers AJPS sent me a while back and put them between the column and the pedalbox where the column mounts. it drops the column the width of the spacer which isn't heaps but its definately more comfortable to use. had to use longer bolts too as there isn't enough thread on the pedal box ones to have the spacer and the nut done up all the way.

I had xt130 lca's with nrca's in mine, i think i had around 3degrees neg camber and around 40mm extra track each side, wheels still sat in the guards just with 14x7 +8 and a 195/60.
I reckon you should be fine with the xt130 arms and it would look fat, plus i doubt it would be too exsessive.

i'm going with the indicator/headlight/wiper combo switch. makes the most sense. all other wiring is intact. meh

have a knock in the front end, both sides, its due to camber top upperspring hat compatability. there is play there needs a spacer or washers or something, look in to it later when i have time.

running chopped kings at the moment with some gt gas shox, not keeping them, they are just something to use until my other stuff arrives. good news is they are sitting at the height i want and so far have only touched the guards twice!! so with the same height and stiffer springs i think she'll be sweet.

so yeah all is well

next step (next few weeks) is to finish my guards, tidy the car up a bit, and source some nicer bumpers, prolly T18 but will look at others as well, see whats avaliable.

well now it does, i don't have time to go get a new combo switch and quite frankly i can't afford it i have other sik parts to buy before i get shitty stock crap.

i just wired a switch on my dash to relay (good one http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif ) then off to the headlight power out pin in the fuse box. basically works just like stock instead of my stock switch signalling power to the headlight relay. i have my flick switch signalling my relay. still looks neat, it works and it cost me nothing

actually the whole car is slipping from neat and sliding towards piggy at the moment http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

needs a renovation rescue/extreme makeover

i'm relly enjoying this car at the moment, it pulls a good skid but doesn't want to slide back the other way, it steps left but the rear is so soft you try to go the other way and she just squats and grips http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif i think with the stiffer rears it will be alot more fun.

the 185's on the back crack me up. carpark driving sounds like 2 budgies chatting away, sounds like a locker soooo much. sometimes chirps 3rd http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

10kg is too hard in the front as well, it doesn't feel much stiffer than 8's but the understeer is there.

all and all its been on road 4 days and all is well. needs the front coilover/camber top knock sorted then it can be pushed a little harder and become more enjoyable. same as the rear set up needs to be stiffer for more fun.

Justin i have cut kings at the moment http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif so maybe 2kg/mm http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif i have used cut falcons before and they were definately a comparable rate to my 6kg/mm AJPS springs if anything a little softer. also they replaced some AJPS 4.5's and i could definately feel a increase in rate.

might depend on springs too, i only cut new ones not old stuff that might be sagging after spending so many years in the back of a taxi http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

hey gilly,

it could be a number of things, mine is an incompatability between the camber top and the T3 upper hats i'm using. it causes the top to clash with the spring hat. it needs further spacing (more than just the topspacer) so it can utilise the T3 spring hat properly.

hard to explain without pics, i have tomorrow off and will be pulling them out to sus it. i'll get some pics up as it sems to be a common occurance.

Nah i got brand spankers... So you reckon they would be around 5 or so kilos? Thats awesome... means i have like 6.5 and 5 kilos springs lol. I find the setup i have good for slide (better if i had decent front shocks!) but also soft enough to absorb bumps when driving on the hills... So yeah, i would definately recommend falcon springs for that lol!

cut falcons in the rear are fine because they still fit perfectly snug, and will be kept captive by commo or sierras.

not fitted though http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif i'll fit them when i get an AE86 rack so i get a massive difference in lock. Ke racks have 2 less teeth in the rack itself limiting lock. i have lockspacers too but i don't really like the idea of them (slip on ones)

investing in a Quaife quick rack as well later in the year.

front end set up is where its at!!!!

fitting my NRCA's this morning, the rims sit sweet now with the XT130 LCA's if the NRCA's stick them out much further i might have to step back to 86 LCA's. camber tops max positive too and i have the camber i want, roughly -2*. the NCRA's are of course going to affect this as well, see what happens.

well palmside want $350 NZ + $20 NZ post

works out to be $325ish + you have to pay someone to put it in an AE86 rack housing for you. you only get a rack and pinion not the whole body etc.

from the best of my knowledge you do get slightly more lock from this rack, it may have 1 or 2 extra teeth on the rack bed itself, which allows extra travel. moreso used as they speed the steering up and reduce the amount of turns lock to lock (2.5) steering effort is increased and with P/S arms you will feel it more again, so work on your biceps or get a biger steering wheel http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

if there was enough interest i could try to organise a group buy? maybe 5 or more would get a slight discount, even if its only post it helps. mind you if i can get one landed for $325 as the site states i'd be cheering as it is indeed a excellent bang for buck buy IMO.

dissappointed no one noticed the steering arms are around the wrong way on the NRCA pic, if i ran them like that they'd be PRCA's http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

in simple terms:

The extra track is great for handling... but u should do this using ur corona arms...

but with ur negative offset rims and the use of NRCA you wheel will sit a great distance away from under the ball joint...

if u think of it simply the weight of your car is transfered down the strut onto the ball joint... the further away ur tire is from the ball joint or the line of weight of the car.... meaning there is less weight that is pushed onto the entire tyre, meaning a smaller contact patch therefore causes your car to handle gay.... thats y postive offset wheels handle alot better then negative offset..as there is more tyre under the ball joint

Cost me $355 AUS to my door + $22 for money transfer(ouch dam commonwealth bank) did it all from my computer at work.

ive driven an 86 with quaife rack before
its good but i still dunno if i would get one.

i want to drift one before i decide.
should slide ur car before deciding Gilly.
steering is quick enough http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif
ive also heard the rack eliminates the extra lock from power steering arms?

Gilly
15th March 2007, 06:57 PM
i heard you get more lock hmmmmm

D used one in his cars and always has ample lock.

Cass I WANT ONE http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif i'm all for the gokart styles, i think quicker steering is always going to be an advantage whatever motorsport you are into

well 7 days later (after conversion) and all the gremlins and bugs have been ironed out.

my coilover knock was fixed via a different shim (washer http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif)

finally found the perfect panhard setting, both tyres now lightly scrub over bumps. i'm getting driftke70's old setup sometime next week so the increased rate should help.

front end now has

Xt130 LCA'sT3 35mm NRCA (i know Matt http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif )
P/S Arms
AJPS lock spacers

feels nice, steering is constantly light which i'm not used to. the S13 setup gets harder as you wind on more lock, a proper 86 setup doesn't do this which is pretty nifty i thought.

my front guards are full as, the tread fits under the flared edge and the stretched tyre and rim sit outside, soo JDM pimp right now http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif camber tops are maxed out positive to give me close to the camber i want, still around the -2* mark i reckon

the rears are similar tread and most tyre just sits under the guardlip with the rim outside.

next on the shoping list is some new bumpers. possibly T18 items maybe something else (hush hush) maybe not the hush hush items i got a feeling postage is going to be a killer http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

new bumpers will be sweet as, the car will look abit wider, it already is but the picnic table bumpers on it now are seriously killing the stance.

other than that the car is done, i seriously have no essentials to do which is a situation i've never really been in before. the old hachi needed bigger rear rims and a general tidy up plus a few other odds and ends. This thing has everything i wanted, and its staying for a while now i've been told.

time to get some skills, its track time now..

moreso having the time off and all the parts here ready to go http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif

no skills required

also p/s arms are sik as for shopping centre carparks and my driveway

so far my driveway has claimed

DCNTLY's front bar
Gilly's left hand front guard
Tam's Camry mudflap and hubcap
my dogs on numerous occassions

basically you reverse around a tight as corner and there are stirrups up the driveway for a carport the previous owners never built http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

the first stirrup OWNS all cars in close perimeter, i swear it hides in the grass there and jumps out

p/s arms = full lock sweep around the corner with ease.

Thought we agreed that all the incidents involving broken parts due to that stirrup were gonna be "Drift" related.. Like Tam steppin at 180ks in "D" with her hand out the window and just brushed the gutter while 90metre fishy

Cut down bumpers FTG! (For the Ghetto) They look so much better than stock, but yes, chrome ones would look horn!

This car makes me want to get 14's on my 71, they look so phat! Loving the rim out the guard action!

yeah drilling connectors sucks, especially copper ones, they never will stay still, so i use one of those tapered cone like drills that make holes bigger, put simply, use a high speed and they never catch, awesome for when your drilling holes for like a switch board and you couldnt be assed getting the right sized drill bit for each kind of switch, just keep buzzing till they fit.

Quaife quick rack, ive heard good things about them from dee as well, apparently turned his k pop into an animal, which is a sexual thought.

Your in the same position as me now gilly, just need to get on the track and drive.

hey gilly lookin good, can i ask what spring rates you are running and are you using strut braces and things like that? if so what brand and what size are they? and how much have you lowered it? did you cut the stiffer springs or are you running coilovers?

Gilly
21st March 2007, 07:31 AM
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

its all on the front page dude

AE86 coilovers o n shortened struts, cusco camber tops, 10kg/mm springs (not keeping), ST185 GT4 celica KYB short strokes.

front strut brace

rear is cut falcons and sierra's that i'm picking up today of driftke70

i have no idea exactly how much it has been lowered, maybe 3 inches?

slidn70
21st March 2007, 02:16 PM
Looking good http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/smile.gif

Hey Gilly can you remember what height (free standing)you cut your falcon springs too? and are they factory or king springs?

keiichi
21st March 2007, 04:30 PM
did you flare out your rear gaurds or were they just like that?

Gilly
21st March 2007, 05:14 PM
the guards received some light hammer loving (rear) fronts obviously suffered from hammer rapage http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

the angle of the pic make them look a little flared, they aren't

rear springs at present are low 86 kings with 1 coil removed. as of about 2 hours ago i have in my possession a pair of cut falcon springs and a pair of "Ultima" suzuki sierra shocks, they aren't standard stroke they are in fact a bit longer, extended length is 500mm. the falcon springs are 270mm free height. they are being fitted tomorrow. they are both off driftke70's old red car.

the shocks are the same stroke or close too at least the commodore and monaro shocks that people often used. and are very stiff. springs may be alittle high for my taste, thats only a grinder mod away http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif though from memory the old red shell sat at a good height. can't remeber really, only saw it in the flesh once.

driftke70
21st March 2007, 05:20 PM
yeah i always felt like they were a good height in the red one, it was on 13's but as you said, grinder is your friend.

Shocks i thought were pretty damn good, id be using those springs and shocks if my coil overs didnt come with rear adjustable shockies and nice springs.

Gilly
22nd March 2007, 11:19 AM
yeah fitted it just then. rear needs to come down 15mm. then it will be level with the front, but more importantly the diff won't be resting on my "under diff" exhaust http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

ended up flipping the springs so the cut section is at the top and the neat bit at the bottom. idon't know why but every pair of cutties i use pop out at the pigtail when i drive hard http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

thats the 3rd different car i've owned thats done it all with falcon cutties. good news is they sit fine like that, the spring flattens out at the top so its "weighted" properly with the full weight of the car resting evenly over the spring. its probably not the best, the spring is now absorbing bumps and shit opposite to how it was before, so whether there is a strength or compression issue i don't know!!

see what happens i guess.

feels good but, 10000 times better than cut low kings http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif its nice to drive without flinching everytime you go over a bump waiting for the tyres to collect the guards http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tongue.gif

driftke70

true that

Gilly
26th March 2007, 04:35 PM
now has short bumpers

a lip made from off cuts off said bumpers http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/laugh.gif

and a fully functioning alternator

adjusted the rear spring height a bit and its levelled out nicely. free height is 230mm (ish)

bumpers were a rush job but look better than stock. the lip is ghey but does its best to fill the massive gap between beaver panel and bitumen.

i really want some chrome bars and a JDM stly deep lip. but there is other things that need my money first..
